Hello, My name is Badr, I love teaching and I’m passionate about motivating others to find their own way toward academic excellence. I started teaching English in high school in 2015 and started online tutoring in 2017 because I believed that students needed more flexibility, convenience, and personalization in their lessons. Teaching tailored and individual lessons online was the perfect solution. In 2019, I've completed a master's degree in French studies and since then I've been teaching the Molière language and working with students from all around the world with whom I’ve accomplished astonishing results. I offer mathematics lessons (Arithmetic - Analysis - Matrices - Statistics - Algebra - Geometry - Trigonometry...) to students from primary to terminale, with dedicated support for the preparation of tests. Each session is structured to reinforce the basics, understand the methods, and progress confidently towards the academic objectives. We will work together on practical exercises, resolution techniques, and tips to pass your exams. At the same time, I also offer French and Arabic lessons for beginners and primary school students. Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart. I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Learn the schedules by heart. 2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both students and adults who want to learn the Latin language or deepen their knowledge without time-consuming detours through the insanities of school methods which do not produce results. Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning in a positive state of mind. I offer individual or group Latin lessons (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive sciences and in particular historical linguistics. What will not be the subject of the course: learn lists of verbs; learn lists of nouns with their gender; learn words with their translations; memory card game; doing school exercises; follow the program in a notebook; impose French grammar on the Latin language. What matters to me in particular: motivate my student and give him a learning rhythm; encourage creativity; make friends with language; letters and their sounds strengthen your memory by working on the phonological loop; teach construction plans instead of having people learn sentences by heart; explain how the language works to make my student independent as quickly as possible; breaking preconceived ideas such as the gammatical gender would have a link with the biological gender, the accusative would be a direct complement and the dative an indirect complement, the verbs would be irregular, the declension would be random and therefore to be learned with each verb... ; place practice at the center and articulate grammar around practice.
