I am a native English speaker from the United States, here in France pursuing my masters degree at EDHEC Business School. I have English teaching and babysitting experience and sincerely enjoy working with kids.

I love to teach basic English including numbers, colors, introductory conversations, everyday vocabulary and more. I believe it is important to teach with patience and create a zero frustration environment so the kids have a positive experience, wanting to learn more. I have a basic French level, if ever necessary when giving a lesson.

Hello! My name is Sophia and I am an American, native English speaker currently living in Lille, France. I am in France pursuing my masters degree from EDHEC Business School.

I am very passionate about working with children and would love to help them learn and be exposed to English in a positive way but teaching them useful, basic English knowledge such as introductory conversations, ranges of vocabulary and describing words to be able to express themselves.

I strongly believe in creating a positive environment for the children to learn and teach them in a way to want to learn more.

I graduated from Adrian college in Michigan, United States in 2015 with my Bachelor's in Business Marketing and also played soccer for the university for 4 years.

Graduate teacher offers an individualized pedagogy, assistance with the preparation of questions or exams. My goal is to advance the student without overburdening him. I give homework after each lesson and periodically provide progress reports.

I start from the needs of the student, I make a point with him so that we can together set goals and do everything possible to achieve them.

I offer fun teaching techniques that are less like what we do at school to facilitate learning. In language classes, I focus a lot on learning through speech. For me, learning should not be boring but entertaining. I offer online courses, at my home as well as yours. I can teach in Dutch, however, it is not my native language. I can give lessons in mathematics, French, Dutch, math, history, science and geography for students from 3 to 16 years old. I also give the basics in these subjects for adults as well as French, Dutch and English lessons at all levels.
