I offer personalised Turkish language lessons for English and French speakers, as well as for native Turkish speakers who want to refine their language skills. I have over 15 years of experience teaching languages to learners of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced users.

My background is in English–French–Turkish translation and interpretation, and I am also a published literary translator. This means I work with language at a very precise level, focusing not only on grammar and vocabulary, but also on meaning, tone, and cultural nuance. I help students understand how Turkish actually works in real life, not just how it appears in textbooks.

Lessons are adapted to your goals. This can include everyday conversation, academic or professional Turkish, writing skills, pronunciation, or stylistic refinement. For native speakers, I offer support with advanced writing, clarity, expression, and register, drawing on my experience as a communications specialist working in international and multilingual environments.

My teaching style is structured but flexible. I focus on clear explanations, practical usage, and building confidence. Whether you are learning Turkish for personal interest, professional reasons, or to reconnect with the language at a deeper level, lessons are tailored to your pace and needs.

I am a qualified English teacher from England. I obtained my bachelor's degree in linguistics at Lancaster University (UK) and will soon have my master's degree. I have been teaching English for over 3 years to students who wish to improve their English language skills or become bilingual. All my students are satisfied with my course and those who had entrance exams have passed successfully. There is nothing like having English lessons with a qualified English speaker ;-) I have done all my studies in English and in the United Kingdom, I consider English as being my first language among all the other ones I have learned. Being a "native" speaker for me is meaningless, the qualifications are the most important as well as the experience (you could have a "native" speaker who makes a lot of mistakes because this person is not qualified in teaching).

The price of the lessons is moderate compared to the effectiveness of my courses. I use a variety of methods and can easily adapt to the needs of the student. I offer courses at all levels (beginner, advanced to university level) as well as English courses for IELTS/TOEFL, A-LEVELS or correction of written works.

I have worked with children as well as teenagers and adults. My 3 years of experience as a teacher in England have helped me to develop the qualities necessary to motivate my students and teach them effectively.

I can deliver the lessons online anywhere in the world.

I am an interpreter by training and have decided to provide private language lessons in addition to translation and interpretation. Whoever wants to improve her or his command of English quickly and in a focused way has come to the right place.

At the start of a new series of lessons, I first test the level of the student, so that I know where I am and what the way forward is.
I ask my student what his or her ultimate goal is and try to adjust my lessons accordingly. Does she or he want to have a better command of the grammar rules? Does she or he want to be able to speak more confidently in front of an audience? Does she or he want to communicate with international friends or colleagues?
In general, I organize my language lessons according to three pillars: Language proficiency, which mainly consists of vocabulary and expressions and can be considered as the building blocks; Grammar, which includes the rules of the language and is the mortar or binder of the language; and Culture, which includes knowledge about the countries in which a language is spoken and can be seen as the architectural style.

Even though I am a native Spanish speaker, I have experience teaching other languages in different parts of the world, mostly to highschoolers seeking help with their assignments.
Besides that, I also gave tutoring to people who were just starting to learn a new language. I provide a comfort zone where the student can think and learn without any preassure.

I believe that language is a powerful tool today. Not only does it help us understand the world from a different perspective, but it also teaches us the culture of the people who use it. I have had the opportunity to work with teenagers for 5 years now as a student associate in a science center, as a mentor and a lecturer in a different field. What I have learned from that experience is that first and foremost one must become a friend with their student, to understand their needs and their attitudes. I will do my best to make the classes fun by combining audio and visual material in my teaching. My field of study is Social and Cultural Anthropology.

I like to use different methods to teach French to students. It can be through songs, drama, role play or videos. I also very often use situations close to the student's experience, such as describing places they have been or talking about what they have experienced. At the same time, I teach the grammar rules to the student. I now live in regions where French has been spoken for over 30 years. Because I have learned French myself (and I am still learning other languages), I can easily put myself in a student's shoes. I can teach in French, Dutch, English, German and Russian.

Generally, I only use English during classes, but for lower levels I can provide explanations also in Hungarian, in German or in French.

Hello everyone! I hold a doctorate in Italian, have been teaching Italian for 5 years and hold a CELTA teaching qualification. I've been preparing students for the A-Levels and GCSE (language + literature). I can prepare you for specific examinations, language lessons in general or teach you Italian for business. Spanish is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world. So if you're motivated to learn it, I offer tailored courses (adapted to their needs, interests, schedule, etc.). The most important thing is to be able to communicate in the foreign language and use it in a practical way. So, we start the course with a short discussion and then some practical and useful exercises related to day-to-day topics and the current context.

I specialize in working with students who find learning a language challenging. I begin by identifying each student’s individual learning style and then tailor lessons to make the content relevant and engaging. As a result, lessons can vary widely: we might take a stroll and grab a coffee while practicing conversation, analyze a short video for comprehension, or focus intensively on improving recurring grammar issues. Lessons can take place at my home in La Hulpe, or I’m happy to travel within the surrounding area. Online sessions via Zoom, Teams, or Skype are also available.

I accept students of all ages and backgrounds but specialize in two areas: supporting academic success for children and teenagers, and refining language use for executives or specific business environments. I also help students prepare intensely for specific language exams.

I do accept groups but only up to two students. I provide information and material to each lesson in advance, my lessons are well-organised and I like to suggest weekly tasks (if accepted).
