Bass guitar lessons taught as a language,

In this class we look and treat music as language. In an organic way we start to understand how music works and how to play by ear. No basic knowledge is needed, you don't have to be able to read music. All you need is a bass guitar and the motivation to start playing music.

Music was always around when I grew up, my sisters played and both my parents were always really into music. My father mostly Blues and Rock, and my mother mostly African and Latin, along with other genres. So I was exposed to a lot of music early on.
At the age of 7 I went to music school and started on the saxophone. The guitar soon caught my attention and after three years I took it for my second instrument. Frustrated after two years I quit because I wanted to learn Blues and Rock, I quit and stopped playing for three years even though I was still listening to a lot of different types of music.
At 17 I picked up the guitar again and started learning myself alongside with YouTube and information I could find on the internet. At 19 I was playing so much guitar that my dad sent me to a private music school in Antwerp where I studied for 5 years alongside some of Belgiums finest musicians and teachers.
One of my biggest passions was showing already during my education, learning and teaching. I studied bass guitar, took up some piano and drums and worked on understanding the universal language of music.
As a teacher I'm very patient and will try many different things to make a student understand and take him/her along on a musical journey. I believe in a hands on approach with videos or hand written notes as a guide.
