Soy un apasionado estudiante de música en la Haya y ofrezco clases de violín, teoría musical y viola (en varios idiomas). Trabajo muy bien con principiantes de cualquier edad.

Hay ciertos metodos reconocidos, materiales y listas de repertorio que utilizo con cualquier alumno, pero cada uno tiene sus necesidades particulares, las cuales siempre serán atendidas de una manera personal. Extra informatie

Si el alumno está interesado en las clases de instrumentos de cuerda, necesitarán un violín o una viola. En algunos casos yo puedo obtener un instrumento prestado o alquilado. En la mayoría de casos existen buenos instrumentos para principiantes a precios asequibles. Si está interesado en mis clases particulares o en las de cualquier otro, no recomiendo a un principiante comprar un instrumento sin la ayuda de un profesor!

Para alumnos muy jovenes (edad preescolar o primeros años de parbulario) no recomiendo clases de duración superior a 45 minutos. A estas edades no pueden tocar un instrumento, sólo podemos trabajar el oído y las habilidades motrices básicas. Para alumnos mayores interesados en clases de instrumento de cuerda, recomiendo clases de 60 minutos o más.

La primera clase es gratis! Si el alumno está insatisfecho puede recuperar parte de su dinero a través de la página web. Puedo reembolsar cualquier cantidad restante. Si el alumno está contento le ofreceré una clase gratis antes de que llegue el momento de reservar más clases en Apprentus.

I'm a 24 year old musician and student. I'm currently studying my BA degree in Classical Viola Performance at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in Den Haag.
I was born and raised in Spain to parents from the U.S. and Iceland, and I'm fluent in the languages of all 3 countries (I have unfortunately not yet learned to speak dutch).

Soy profesora de viola y violín y me gradué del Real Conservatorio de La Haya con especialización en Educación, como un curso menor de tres años como parte de la Licenciatura en Música. Actualmente estoy estudiando mi maestría en Codarts Rotterdam.

There are two grand pianos at the location in Den Haag.

For children, it is important to develop basic musical skills through Singing, Rythmique, and Ear training besides piano playing. I use one technical exercise book, the main textbook, and a theory book. Through these 3 books, students learn different aspects of music and they naturally get ready for exams and grades.

After acquiring basic skills, students study Harmony and Chord exercises too. These are useful for playing pops and jazz, and they obtain a deeper understanding of classical pieces too.

Private Piano lesson, from age 4 and above. Children can start the lesson after being able to read the numbers from 1 to 5 and the alphabet from A to G.

Advanced students who want to prepare for competitions, auditions, ABRSM, GCSE, IB exams, or the entrance exam of the conservatory.

The concert is held annually together with students of flute, violin, and composition teachers.

For the ages 1-7 years, I have group Rhythmique lessons.

Welcome to my introduction site!

My name is Marta and music has been a great love and passion for my entire life.
Singing lessons are not only an opportunity to learn singing and something new about music but also an opportunity to express emotions, forget about everyday worries, and have fun!
Through music theory lessons you can learn about the structure of music and also develop some very useful music skills such as reading music (sight-singing or sight-reading).

All students who have a specific goal in mind, but also all who do not have any specific goal in mind and want to sing or learn theory just for fun, are very welcome!

Different options for lessons that I am offering are described below and all of them can be modified and adjusted according to the wishes and needs of the student:

SINGING LESSONS FOR CHILDREN (individual or group lessons - maximum 10 students*)
Singing lessons for children is basically an integrated method that combines singing with solfeggio, developing basic music theory skills. It consists of playing musical games and singing children's songs and those developing intonation, musical hearing, musical memory, sense for pulse and rhythm, all with attention to healthy singing.

SINGING LESSONS FOR TEENAGERS AND ADULTS (individual or group lessons - maximum 10 students*)
During singing lessons, we will be searching for a deeper meaning of the story and different ways of interpretation, with attention to healthy singing techniques, pronunciation, and style. The lessons consist of breathing exercises, and vocal warm-up exercises with a specific technical goal and work on the desired repertoire - meaning of the words and story, vocal technique, pronunciation, interpretation, and style.
My specialization is in classical singing but I don’t mind working on other genres in my classes.

SIGHT SINGING LESSONS (individual or group lessons)
Intense course where you will be learning how to read music at sight. The lessons consist of sight singing only, beginning from the easiest level and gradually learning how to read more and more difficult music. You will develop skills needed for sight singing as well as a certain way of thinking appropriate for sight singing. (There is no technique of singing or interpretation involved in these lessons.)

SOLFEGGIO LESSONS (individual or group lessons, for children from 8 years old, teenagers, and adults)
In these lessons, you will learn how to bring written music to life (sight-singing), how to discover and put on paper the music you hear (musical dictation), and how to build scales, intervals, and chords. This knowledge is needed and examined in every conservatoire and music academy. For some conservatoires and academies, this is an obligatory pre-requirement and elimination factor on entrance exams. It is an inevitable part of every professional music education.

MUSIC THEORY LESSONS (individual lessons)
Music theory lessons can include, if desired: solfeggio, harmony, counterpoint, music form, analysis, and/or other music theory-related subjects. For each subject, we can make a special program, depending on the wishes and needs of the student.

COMBINED SOLFEGGIO AND SINGING LESSONS
Combined solfeggio and singing lessons are also possible for adults, as separate subjects or integrated with singing lessons. In both cases, the duration of each lesson is 90 minutes and the program is discussed and created based on the wishes and needs of the student. (A combination of individual singing lessons and a group solfeggio lesson is also possible.*)

AUDITION TRAINING AND PREPARATION FOR EXAMS (individual lessons)
Preparation for auditions concerning singing and/or music theory includes preparation for entrance exams, regular exams on conservatories, or preparation for ABRSM exams.

Hello! I am a classically trained pianist with a Master's Degree from the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague.
I have 9 years of teaching experience, with students from all ages and levels. My teaching methodology is focused on adapting to the student's needs and motivations while passing on my knowledge to help the student develop musical independence and create a personal connection with music.

I organize 2 class concerts per year in a beautiful venue, so that the pupils perform their favourite pieces and showcase their progress to family, friends, and classmates.

During the lessons, there are several aspects of piano playing that I can help with, according to the student's aims and musical level:
- learning how to read scores
- basics of music theory
- develop technical capabilities
- learning how to play by heart
- finding your musical taste

Estuve bajo la tutela del gran pedagogo de violín Sr. Mauricio Fuks en la Universidad de Indiana (USA) durante 3 años consecutivos (2018-2021) convirtiéndose en su asistente de cátedra durante 3 años (2018-2021). Además, he enseñado a jóvenes violinistas en escuelas primarias (por ejemplo, Fairview Elementary School) y también a estudiantes universitarios en la Jacobs School of Music (EE. UU.). En España tengo experiencia docente en varias escuelas de música formando a violinistas de edades comprendidas entre los 3 y los 70 años. También he trabajado con estudiantes con TDAH y autistas con una gran pasión por tocar el violín y hacer música.

Tengo un máster en Interpretación de Violín en el Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag y en Psicología y Música (UNED). Tengo un excelente dominio del inglés y del holandés y un buen conocimiento práctico del francés. Baso mi método de enseñanza en los métodos Suzuki y Galamian, que combino con un amplio repertorio de piezas progresivas para violín.

Music is a powerful tool to develop logical skills, mental resilience and sensibility, especially starting at a young age. The oboe is a wind instrument that allows one to finally perform in different types of ensembles. From orchestras to a soloist career, the oboe is a pristine instrument. It doesn't mean that you must aspire to become a professional to study with me. I will tailor the lesson according to my student's needs and work towards a goal that we commonly agree on. Aprender música en grupo es una de las mejores formas de mantenerse motivado a la hora de aprender una nueva habilidad. Siempre puedes cambiar a lecciones individuales si crees que necesitas práctica adicional más adelante.

👋 Hello! My name is Carlo Rossi. I’m a professional saxophonist, composer and qualified music teacher based in The Hague. I teach saxophone at various elementary schools in South-Holland region and also work with children, teenagers, and adults—from beginners to advanced players.

Salut!

Je m'appelle Héloïse, une violoncelliste et chanteuse française qui vit aux Pays-Bas depuis deux ans. J'ai terminé mes études au Conservatoire HKU d'Utrecht en juin et je suis maintenant musicien professionnel et, entre autres, professeur de violoncelle au Centre Lindenberg de Nimègue.

Après avoir enseigné le solfège pendant deux ans dans un conservatoire français, j'ai réalisé à quel point l'enseignement est très important pour moi et m'aide à grandir en tant que musicien. J'aime m'adapter à l'élève et essayer de trouver une solution à toute situation pédagogique.
Je peux enseigner tous les niveaux de violoncelle et de chant, et tous les âges. Je peux également donner quelques cours de solfège.
