Hello! I'm so glad you found my class. If you are looking for a casual and fun way to improve your English you have come to the right place!

I've learned that students absorb material the best when they are relaxed, having fun and in real world environments, so I do my best to incorporate those elements in all of my classes.

A typical class involves us taking a stroll down a new neighborhood and chatting casually. Topics range with the student's fluency level, but typically include any of the below:

-- the weather
-- interesting things we pass by on our walk
-- our career aspirations
-- our travel plans or memories
-- favorite television shows
-- intriguing current events and news articles

On the first day I ask that my students bring their language goals written down on a piece of paper. Every class you are also welcome to bring particular questions you have about pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary and overall colloquialisms.

I look forward to having you in my class! I am also offering webcam based lessons through October 2020 as I am not in town currently.

Hello I'm Kenza , an MA student of Linguistics and I would like to help whoever needs to improve his proficiency in English. I have been working an English tutor for over a year now and I can guarantee that these sessions will be focused on English for people who encounter challenges in writing, speaking, reading and listening and lack correct grammar and skills. We would develop situational vocabulary, corresponding verbs, and adverbs that help transmit more precision when using English.

I'm living in Florence this year and I propose some French lessons for foreigners who want to improve their French. I'm curious of your profile and adaptable, I'd like to speak with you to set a programm together and then use different ways for teaching: movies, texts, dialogs and so on.

I am a language graduate and I have been giving language classes to young people and adults for a year now. My native language is Italian and I am fluent in English (C2) and Spanish (with a C1 level) and intermediate in French (B2 level). My goal is for students to get confident in the language they study, for them to use all of their abilities and get better each day. My classes change from student to student depending on their goals and ambition, but I usually prepare exercises to do together or as homework.

Who am I?

I am a highly qualified teacher with several years of experience in teaching Italian to foreign students.

I organize courses for children, courses for individuals over 60, and preparation courses for Italian language exams.

I also offer seminars, webinars, and fun activities such as role-playing games and escape rooms to learn Italian while having fun.

**My education and studies**

I hold two degrees and a master’s degree.

My first degree is in Italian Studies, focusing on Theory, Criticism, and Methodology, with a specific path for teaching Italian to foreigners. My second degree is in Modern Philology. I also completed a Master’s in Contemporary Art and Curatorial Practices at the Luiss Business School in Rome.

**What did I do before teaching?**

Before dedicating myself to teaching, which I consider the best job in the world, I worked in the fields of fashion and contemporary art. After obtaining my master's degree, I worked as a curator of contemporary art and fashion exhibitions in important museums in Rome. I also collaborated with film festivals, particularly promoting Italian cinema abroad.

**My teaching philosophy**

I aim to provide my students with all my multidisciplinary knowledge and creativity to offer Italian lessons that include careful grammatical analysis. Beware of those who claim that Italian can be learned without studying grammar: grammar is essential for fully understanding the language system and enables students to become independent right away. Learning grammar is fun and makes learning long-lasting.

My lessons do not only focus on the Italian language, but also include insights into Italian culture, from cinema to fashion, from art to design. I also periodically organize meetings with famous Italian artists, including figures from the world of street art.

Join me for a unique learning experience that will allow you to fully immerse yourself in the Italian language and culture!

I currently teach in three Schools for Foreigners and have experience with students of all levels and all ages, including children ;)

With me, you can also prepare for the state exams to obtain citizenship.
