Hello, I am university graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in mathematics and an experienced mathematics and coding coach. I have worked in a number of different roles requiring a diverse range of skills including coaching/tutoring of high school students in year 9 to year 12 mathematics and coding for primary school children. My approach is to focus on developing the student’s mastery of the subject through problem based learning, including preparation for exams, while developing the student’s enjoyment of the subject and ability to learn by themselves. My hobbies include athletics, swimming, skiing and chess.

Qui suis-je ?
Je suis une ancienne élève du lycée Charles de Gaulle qui a obtenu son baccalauréat S Spécialisation Maths avec la mention Très Bien. J'ai obtenu mon diplôme universitaire à UCL dans le bachelor course Economics and Statistics. Je travaille maintenant dans le domaine de la régulation financière.

Qu’est-ce qui me motive?
Je comprends les difficultés que peuvent rencontrer certains élèves en mathématiques et mon but est avant tout de remettre l’élève en confiance. La clef du progrès est de comprendre ce qui bloque l’élève. En general les chapitres étudiés en classe sont accessibles, mais il faut comprendre ce qui est attendu et prendre confiance en soi. Contribuer au progrès d’un élève est quelque chose qui me tient particulièrement à coeur.

Pour quelles matières suis-je disponible ?
J’ai des connaissances solides en mathématiques, je suis donc principalement disponible à faire des cours de maths qui prendront la forme d’une ré-explication de la leçon ou de résolution d’exercices-type, au besoin.

Je peux également vous recommander des diplomés de Imperial College que je juge être d’excellents pédagogues pour des cours particuliers en SVT.

Make room for practice rather than theory in order to optimize the time spent together in solving typical exercises requiring a method (noted together on a form with the course associated with it). The goal is to react in the best way possible to a statement.

Je suis un élève polytechnicien de la promotion 2016 ayant fait ma classe préparatoire au lycée Sainte Geneviève ( Ginette pour les intimes ) à Versailles. Je serai en Master à l'Imperial Collège pendant l'année scolaire 2019-2020 (Data Science) et je propose donc mon suivi pendant cette période.

Je propose une aide à la compréhension du cours suivie d'une batterie d'exercices tirés de sites, livres et qui correspondent aux classiques à savoir faire mais aussi aux exercices d'approfondissement pour aller plus loin pour les élèves qui le souhaitent.

Etant récemment sorti du monde de la préparatoire, je maîtrise les méthodes de travail et les réflexes à avoir en tête pour réussir au lycée comme en maths sup/spé. Je serais heureux de partager ces acquis avec mes élèves à condition qu'ils soient motivés parce que moi je le suis !

This is designed for those who struggle to keep up, as well as those who aren’t challenged enough. It also keeps students on track during breaks from school, such as during March Break, or during the summer.
The main aspects of this course will mainly be going over topics where there is a lack of understanding and going over them until they are fully understood. There is the oppurtunity to go through extra work related and if requested, above and beyond the students required level.
