    About Me

I am a microbiologist and chemist with pre-master's degree in Computer science. My pre-master's degree have helped me to raise awareness of the up-to-date tutoring techniques. The evolving use of Internet has reshaped my tutoring experience. As a result, I spent the last two years preparing tutorials for the IGCSE Cambridge students in Chemistry which aren't published yet.
Teaching the students how to be able to make use of web illustration videos and how to make the use of free available apps in science is my priority. I will work on teaching my students how to be able to self study and how to be able search the Internet for their missing data.
I prefer to work with enthusiastic students who are courageous to show their ignorance towards ambiguous info.
Willing to offer my services upon given the opportunity and waiting to hear from you.

    Education

    * Bachelor of Science ( Microbiology / Chemistry) in 2004 with good GPA
    * Pre-master's degree in Computer Science ( Web Developer) in 2017 with B GPA
For completing the course of ICT or, CS, we will need to meet about 50 times, each time is about 60 min. In the first session, I will give you a brief description of the topics we will cover and the difficulty of each. During our meeting, I will explain from my notes on Google Drive for you after the session. After each class, I answer sample questions on each topic and give you a homework to be discussed at the next class. Because I lack experience in one-to-one teaching and because my work was in other field, Please, be notified that I need a review upon my explanation in turn. This review is helping me to develop. Thanks in advance.
For completing the IGCSE Chemistry curriculum, I will need to meet about 50 times; each of about two hours in order to cover all the subjects. I will start by explaining the unit from my presentation together with the aid of the curriculum. After explanation and discussion, I will show you how to answer questions and then give you a homework to be solved and discussed at the next class. I will not only concentrate on past papers questions but also on your weaknesses. Please be prepared at the beginning of each lesson for a small revision.

Work with me in your IB journey. I have over 6 years of teaching experience with international students from Europe, Asia and America. I give home works and assignments on a regular basis. Book a session with me in IB to get started. I interact with my students during lessons. After each lesson, i give students home works and assignment. CHEMISTRY/SCIENCE/MATHS-(MYP plus Berlin School Programme) to an age range of 11 to 19 years, and from 2021-date, focusing on online prep
I taught in the UK from 2002 to 2007, initially as a supply teacher, then as a full-time teacher of Maths, Science and Chemistry and from 2007 to 2021 in Berlin Germany, teaching IB Chemistry, Science (MYP plus Berlin School Programme) to an age range of 11 to 19 years, and from 2021-date, focusing on online prep for students preparing for International Baccalaureate (IB) mock and May Exams vis-a-vis IB internal Assessment (IA). Over the past years I have worked hard at adapting my strategies for teaching to incorporate different ideas and ‘best practice’ highlighted in recent developments in Science education. I have attended Key courses as well as departmental sessions on identifying which National Curriculum levels students are functioning at and how to help them to progress in their learning. As a Science/Chemistry specialist, I have done all in my power to uphold students’ passion in the subject, and I have had a good number of my students expressing their gratitude. In 2009 I received the International Baccalaureate (IB) Chemistry Trained Teacher Certification and batches of IB Chemistry students have graduated successfully. My time as IB Chemistry(plus MYP and as online) teacher(2009-date) has produced Internal Moderated Assessment(IA) scores as high as 23 out of 24. I see myself as a very successful Science Teacher with very high hopes for the future. I am an enthusiastic teacher and I really enjoy trying out new ideas to help motivate and engage students and to help them to learn about Science. I believe that it is important that my students enjoy their lessons and feel able to participate, so I try to develop positive teacher-pupil relationships and use a range of strategies to enable them to interact both with their fellow students and with me.

    Chiwila
Experienced Tutor for IB, IGCSE, GCSE, EDEXCEL, A-LEVELS, CHECKPOINT, EB, IPC, AMERICAN CURRICULUM
I am an experienced and certified mathematics tutor specializing in a range of curriculums, including AS and A-Levels, IGCSE, GCSE, SATs, Edexcel, and the International Baccalaureate (IB). With a proven track record of guiding students to success in these rigorous exams, I understand the unique challenges each curriculum presents. My approach is designed to meet each student's individual needs and learning style, ensuring that they receive the tailored support necessary to excel. Mathematics can often seem daunting, but my goal is to help students build a deep understanding of mathematical concepts. I believe that a solid foundation in the basics is crucial, and I work to ensure that students grasp fundamental principles before moving on to more complex topics. This method not only boosts their confidence but also prepares them for advanced problem-solving scenarios. I utilize a variety of teaching methods, from visual aids to interactive exercises, to cater to different learning styles and make the subject more relatable. In my sessions, I focus on developing effective problem-solving strategies. I guide students through step-by-step processes for tackling various types of mathematical problems, helping them to analyze questions critically and approach solutions systematically. This analytical skill is invaluable, not just for exams, but for future academic pursuits and real-world applications. I encourage students to ask questions and engage in discussions, as this fosters a deeper understanding of the material. I also recognize that exam preparation involves more than just understanding the content; it requires familiarity with the exam format and types of questions they will encounter. I provide targeted practice using past papers and mock exams, which allows students to hone their test-taking skills and time management.
