I’m Valerie, an experienced French teacher working with the Alliance Française in collaboration with the European School. Le français est ma langue maternelle que j’enseigne avec passion et bienveillance. Je m’adapte à vous et vos objectifs, mes cours sont vivants et basés principalement sur des situations du quotidien. Une autre notion essentielle pour moi est d’éprouver du plaisir en apprenant.
Le programme sera créé sur mesure de vos besoins. Mes cours sont structurées de façon que vous ayez l'opportunité d'améliorer votre expression orale, une petite partie de grammaire et une petite partie d'exercices que nous pourrons faire ensemble. J'utilise des documents basés sur la vie réelle, ce qui sera le plus facile pour vous à mémoriser. Vous aurez accès à mes présentations Powerpoint et une liste de liens afin de poursuivre votre apprentissage au quotidien à votre rythme selon vos disponibilités.

J’enseigne à un publique d’adultes et également d’enfants du niveau A1 à B2.

For kids: Learning French is fun with me! I use playful, engaging methods like Cap Sur and Les Petits Loustics. Through games, pictures, songs, videos, role-plays, and more, kids learn naturally in a relaxed, happy environment.

I also offer small group lessons (up to 4 students of the same level) if you enjoy learning with others!

Here is the pathway we will follow in our lessons!
We will start our lessons by learning the most basic skills such as correct pronunciation and simple grammar rules.
We will continue to improve our speaking, listening and grammar levels by learning new informations step by step.
Based on my 13 years of experience, I think that A1 level is a very important period in language learning. When learning any language, beginner level students should learn it in the correct order and important details should be explained well by practising previous ones. Students at more advanced levels, such as A2, B1 or above, also need to practice their skills at the previous level thoroughly to improve their language skills. I try to provide good teaching by paying attention to these important points in my lessons. I keep our lessons' notes in a word file. After our lessons, I send you back all the additional notes and exercises that we covered in our lesson as a Word file.
