My lessons are designed to build a strong technical foundation in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, with a clear focus on engineering theory, practical application, and problem-solving skills.
I teach a wide range of core Electrical & Electronic Engineering subjects, including analogue circuits, digital electronics, power systems, power electronics, renewable energy systems, control systems, engineering mathematics, and engineering physics. Each topic is explained using fundamental engineering principles, mathematical modelling, equations, and step-by-step derivations, ensuring students understand not only how solutions work, but why they work.
Lessons regularly involve circuit analysis, system modelling, signal analysis, and simulation-based learning using industry-standard engineering software such as MATLAB, Simulink, ORCAD, and PSpice. I also provide hands-on guidance in embedded systems and microcontroller programming, including Arduino programming, sensor interfacing, and basic real-time system design. Where relevant, I introduce engineering design workflows, helping students convert theoretical knowledge into practical, working engineering systems.
In addition to concept teaching, I support students with university assignments, coursework, lab reports, final-year projects, and exam preparation. This includes structured problem-solving techniques, past-paper practice, numerical analysis, debugging support, and exam strategy tailored to UK universities.
My goal is to help students develop strong engineering fundamentals, analytical thinking, and practical technical skills that are essential for academic success, professional engineering careers, and real-world applications.

I’m Ghous Ali, an Electrical & Electronic Engineering graduate with a strong academic background and hands-on experience in electronics, power systems, embedded systems, and intelligent technologies. I completed my MSc in Electronics and Electrical Engineering at the University of Chester, where I achieved Distinction in modules related to Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Electronics, and Intelligent Systems.
My academic journey has involved working on real-world engineering problems, ranging from power electronics and embedded systems to AI-driven applications. I have designed lightweight deep learning models for medical imaging and fire detection, developed autonomous robotic systems, worked on biomedical sensor projects, and contributed to CubeSat power system design—giving me a strong balance between theory and practical implementation.
I also have solid research experience, with two international conference papers accepted. My paper “FireNet-Lite” was accepted at ICMLDE 2025, where I proposed an ultra-efficient convolutional neural network optimised for edge devices, IoT systems, and real-time deployment. In addition, my second paper on deep-learning-based detection of diabetic retinopathy has been accepted for presentation at ICAUC 2026, focusing on accurate and efficient medical image analysis.
Alongside my academic and research work, I gained practical industry exposure through an internship at the Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (PCSIR), where I carried out electrical testing, safety compliance checks, and diagnostic analysis of consumer appliances.
As a tutor, my focus is on clarity, problem-solving, and confidence-building. I aim to help students not just pass exams, but truly understand concepts and apply them in practical and real-world scenarios. I adapt my teaching style to each student and strongly believe that, with the right explanation, engineering and programming become logical, interesting, and approachable.
