I am sure that each of us has his own idea of what a good teacher is like. But usually everyone agrees that he should love his job. Because enthusiasm is contagious.
Personally, I think that a good teacher is not just someone who knows his subject well, or who is a native speaker. This is one who is able to teach another person. And now more than ever is known about what contributes to effective learning. And, in my opinion, not using it is simply unforgivable.
And I strongly believe that you can't teach anybody anything. You can only teach to think. So I'm looking forward to seeing you in my class.
