I speak West Coast (California) English. It's the English you hear in your favorite California movies. I love to help friends who already speak "European street English" while HAVING FUN! And of course we will talk a lot. When I hear an error I will correct you in a fun way, writing things for you, with FUN AND REAL examples, with drawings, ALWAYS STAYING 100% in English. That's correct, I will only speak English to you, because as you and I both know, you already speak English, and you have understood everything (or maybe 70%) of everything I just wrote. What you want is to improve or perfect your spoken English (we can work on writing, too). Immersion and fun, West Coast Style. And my university degree? Yes, I have two of them, in Languages and Literature, and I speak 4 fully fluent languages (working on number five currently), but for now I want you to learn English by HAVING FUN! English is one of the most common and useful languages in the world, whether for work, travelling, watching series in original version, understanding your favorite American or English star...

What? An English course for both beginners and advanced, both for children and adults... we discover the basics of the language, grammar and useful vocabulary in a fun way, or we deepen these knowledge, with some revisions if necessary. Obviously, we will tackle all skills: reading, writing, speaking and hearing.

Who? I'm Julie, a fan of languages, I've already mastered almost four, and I always want to discover new ones. English has (almost) no more secrets for me. I'm also a photographer and a photography teacher on the side, so I have a background in building lessons with lots of practice.

How? For one to two hours (two hours recommended to progress more efficiently), I always prepare my lessons specially and in an up-to-date way, using recent articles, relevant and useful vocabulary on a daily basis. Classes are currently only taking place online, as I am not in Belgium.

When? Well, whenever you want! As soon as possible, to improve your English tomorrow!

Hi there! I'm Lynn, a languages and all culture-related enthusiast with a particularly keen interest in singing, storytelling and transdisciplinary art. Which in turn led me to be a freshly graduated Master-student in Performing Arts, with a Bachelor's degree in Modern Languages and Letters where I primarily studied English as well as Russian linguistics and literature, along with a Dutch minor.

These university years gave me the opportunity amongst others to learn more in-depth about the subjects I was most passionate about during my Art Humanities, i.e. performance studies, philosophy, art - and cultural history, as well as literary/critical analysis of various different artforms.

Brought up bilingual (French-Dutch) from earliest infancy, I very early came to realise the many possibilities and encounters this opened up, which encouraged me to continue down this path of language learning and intercultural communication. At first, I was incredibly fortunate to benefit from the work of a truly invested and passionate English teacher during the scope of my humanities and to acknowledge all of the difference that it makes when learning a foreign language. Subsequently, prior to my studies I got the chance to travel to Ireland for a year during which I mainly worked as an au pair. This not only took my English to the next level, but also sharpened my childcare skills and pedagogical abilities.

Now that I've completed my studies and am opening up a new chapter of my working-life, I'm very excited to put all of this baggage to work along with you!
I wholeheartedly believe in the power of play and sharing fun, artistic and/or meaningful activities which help put things into practice in order to learn a new language in a lively, profound and sustainable way.

My name is Guy, and I am a Brit/Belgian currently living near Mérode in Etterbeek, Brussels.
I can offer beginner/intermediate/advanced classes, conversation classes, and can help students pass their English language exams. I am happy to do it online, at your place, or at my place. I offer tailored courses, in person or remotely, according to the needs of each student. For academic support, I adapt to the program followed by the child or adolescent, by deepening the concepts already covered, by re-explaining difficult points or by dissecting problematic themes.

For adults, I mainly teach the basics in Dutch, but I can adapt my lessons to different objectives.
