My name is Aleksandar Nikolaev and I am from Bulgaria. I offer flute lessons (modern and traverso), piano and music theory, all ages and levels are welcome! I am able to teach in English, German, French and Bulgarian (my native language). I had a teaching job for 2 years in Germany and I would like to continue developing my teaching skills if you are interested, do not hesitate to contact me. My journey : I have a master's degree in modern flute performance (HfM Dresden, Germany) and I am pursuing a second master's degree in historical instrument practice (HEM Geneva). I have also always studied piano and organ from a young age.

I teach cello and/or music theory in French or English, using the "DO RE MI" or "ABC" system. I adapt to each student to best meet their needs and motivations. I like to take the time to explain, listen to students, but also help them work so that they develop the autonomy necessary to learn an instrument. All this without forgetting to have fun with the instrument and feel proud of yourself! For English courses, I also offer preparation for the international ABRSM exams.

At the moment I am studying at the magistracy of the composition department in Haute école de musique de Genève. In addition, I already have two full educations - choral (secondary) and composer (higher). I graduated from the St. Petersburg Conservatory as a composer, took part in concerts and competitions in Russia, France, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland as a choir singer or pianist. I offer guitar lessons for all ages and levels. My lessons are based on the student's individual interests and objectives (it is possible to work on different styles and repertoires). Max has performed in major venues across Europe, The Americas and the Middle East as an orchestral & chamber musician, and as a soloist. *Lessons are 60 minutes in duration focusing on improving violin technique, ear training, musicality, and development of classical repertoire and improvisation skills. Max employs a blend of the El Sistema and Suzuki methods and aims to consistently improve and grow ones violin technique and musical intelligence in a fun and engaging way.
