Dear students:
my name is Ana and I am a professional Opera Singer, Vocal Coach and Singing teacher.
Counting on a Degree in 'Music-Singing', obtained at the University in Portugal, and two Master's Degrees in 'Singing and Performance' and in 'Vocal Chamber Music', obtained in the Superior Conservatory in Italy, I count on more than 10 years experience performing in big theatres and large venues and teaching singing. In 2024 I have also completed a post-HBO in 'Music Education', at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, in the Netherlands.

In our lessons my aims are for you to:

- feel comfortable with yourself;
- feel confident to sing and experiment in front of me;
- make progress;
- have fun;
- leave the lesson with more knowledge and a smile.

I teach all levels and ages, and I am happy to share and adapt my knowledge and experience with everyone.

Depending on your class level we will design a personalized program for you and set goals to achieve.

We'll work mainly on:

-BREATHING;
-CONFIDANCE;
-PITCH;
-LEGGATO & STACCATO;
-EFFECTS;
-BUILDING A REPERTOIRE (style of your own choice - from pop to rock, or from early music to opera).

I will always provide you with your sheet music and/or lyrics for the lesson.

As a professional singer, I have sang all around the world, in countries like Portugal, Spain, Italy, Malta, Germany, Netherlands, Brasil, the USA, and in big theatres and venues, like 'Amici del Loggione del Teatro alla Scala', in Milan, Italy, the Opera Company Italian Opera Florence (with whom I have been collaborating as a soloist singer since 2017), the Theatre of Komi, in Russia, Teatro della Pergola, in Florence, Italy, and so on.

I also have 2 years of experience as a choir director.
