This is an individual course design depending on your request and your starting level. Each course includes lessons filled with instruction information, practice time and homework assignment. You can begin with Level 1 and continue further or choose to start on a specific level. Level 1 - This course is an absolute beginner level. You can hold a pencil and a brush but the starting is so stressful and confusing. You're scared of making a mistake, you don't know where to begin, you're getting lost when it comes to composition or shading whenever you start to draw. I GOT YOU! Those are very common feelings when you start to draw and it can be discouraging, give you a feeling of being stuck or just very dissatisfied with your art. In this course I will guide you through basic traditional art techniques such as pencil sketching, pen and ink drawing, watercolor, and acrylic painting. We will be studying composition, forms, shapes, structure and texture of different objects such as fabric, furniture, animal fur, plants etc. I’ll show you how to achieve depth in your shading, how to understand light, and the effect of fragility of plants or hardship and reflection of metal. I’ll teach you observation, things to look for in the drawing, but most of all I'll give you tools for future independent learning that will save you tons of time while figuring on your own! Level 2 - This course is directed towards people who have some basic understanding of traditional art media techniques such as pencil sketching, pen and ink drawing, watercolor, and acrylic painting. Your art is currently your hobby, but you would like to change it into a career? Know more about art as a business model, get insights into career tips and opportunities. Or do you want to improve your sketching skills, learn to digitise your work, create digital illustrations in Procreate, or combine it all in your own unique way? Level 3 - Advanced. I was thinking, that learning Chinese is extremely difficult, however, thanks to Shan,  this language becomes more and more clear for me. Every lesson is very productive and I feel, that I progress fast! Today, there are numerous teachers, who can teach you Chinese. However, only a few of them can make the educational process so interesting and enjoyable. Luckily for me, Shan is one of them and I am very happy, that I found her. Shan is very precise and corrects every my mistake. She can easily explain how to properly pronounce words with different tones, how to write syllables, the grammar and many more. I like, that with her, I am not just memorising Chinese language, but I do really understand it. Overall, without a doubt, I can say, that Shan is a great teacher! 心💕

Nicolas has a friendly approach in his horn teaching backed by his high professional standard with very good ears. His feedback is to the point and focused on building up in small steps for long term improvements. His lesson on resuming practice after a break was very useful, which I’m sure will benefit me repeatedly in future. He also very kindly helped me look for a mouthpiece and instrument, which again was very useful. If/when face to face becomes possible, I’d love to get lessons on historical horn from him!

My daughter was taking the IB DP Maths AA programme, and Arnaud was her tutor for the 23/24 school year.
