Maths is important to students of all ages as it's something that is useful for your entire life. In my maths class, I will make sure that you understand the concept and methodology needed to solve a question or to cover a topic. My class usually involves the student setting its pace and I will try to make it interactive in which it's not only me talking but hopefully you being able to share your own way of solving problems.
