I am a native english speaker and have had significant experience in tutoring children, teenagers and adults with a vast range of learning challenges, including various levels of aspergers and autism, dyspraxia, ADD/ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, auditory processing weakness, sensory integration struggles, as well many children with no specific diagnosis, but who seem to simply struggle generally with reading, writing and spelling. I also trained and qualified in Sensory Integration through Therapeeds and completed the Neuroscience Approach to Reading Intervention. I am also fully certified in the Wilson Reading Method, the Orton-Gillingham Dyslexic Training method and the The Nancibell - Visualizing and Verbalizing Program for Cognative development, comprehension and thinking. I believe the combination of all my hands on experience and training, as well as my additional courses of Sensory Integration Training etc., has truly given me a unique knowledge and experience base which I use to add an extra level of understanding when tutoring my students. I do particularly enjoy, and have been very successful in working with, students that might be regarded as extra challenging. I have a genuine love of what I do, as well as a high level of curiosity which I believe makes me that much more effective as a teacher.
