Hello! My name is miss Ana. I am an Early Childhood Educator with experience teaching students from early ages to lower elementary students. I am Dominican but grew up in the US for three years, where I acquired the English language simultaneously and continued my language acquisition throughout high school when I returned to the Dominican Republic. My experience teaching English through content and themes, allows me to create an individualized plan for my students. I am certified to Teach English as a second of other language and as a foreign language, therefore I am also qualified to teach adults. I use varied methods and styles for teaching English as a foreign or other language, and I consider the personality and learning styles of the client to create an individualized plan for teaching and learning. After assessing the background of the students (vocabulary, comprehension, grammar, construction), I create a plan with the content required for a correct acquisition of the language. I plan considering the areas of language and also the areas that the TOEFL test assess to confirm English language acquisition. I know that this will be a learning adventure! Tot ziens!
