DRAWING COURSE Observation - Sketch (Medium Free)

In this course you will learn the practice and theory of drawing and painting. It covers shapes, forms, visual elements, value, and colour theory. You will apply this knowledge to exercises in still life, landscape, figure drawing, and portraiture. Any medium you wish to explore is welcome and materials will be provided. The course will be tailored to your preferred pace and level, although it will follow the basic structure provided above.

I'm teaching practical techniques to greatly improve your art and also the creativity boost methods you'll need to develop original ideas. I'm giving fun lessons on subjects that are necessary fundamentals of being able to create strong and bold artworks. I can teach digital art, oil painting, watercolor, pencil drawing and comics. We'll design classes together based on your needs. All skill levels are welcome and will benefit from this lessons.

If you know how to use perspective, composition, capture the right proportions, capture the volume and be attentive to detail, you are fully prepared for making any kind of art you are into. When we will reach this point, I will also help you to go further and develop your own style. I will teach you how to work with visual observation, perspective, volume, light and shadow, composition, proportions, and sketching using graphic material. In order to learn how to draw you need a lot of practice, so I will assign some homework as well. My name is Rocio and I'm a Spanish Artist from Madrid giving private art lessons to kids in Brussels (Belgium). I studied Fine Arts and Visual Design in Madrid and graduated in 2020, ever since I have been working as a graphic designer and part-time private art teacher for kids. As an artist, I have a solid basis of materials, composition, shape and color, but I know those aren't essential skills when approaching art for the first time, the most important is the attitude towards it. As kids are always eager to try new materials, my lessons focus in experimenting through painting while having fun in the process, with the idea that painting is a really intuitive skill that everyone and anyone can enjoy.
