My name is Yvette, I am a primary school teacher and educational psychologist and have more than 10 years of experience teaching Dutch abroad. During an initial consultation, we'll discuss your needs. Why do you want to learn Dutch, and which aspects of the language should receive the most attention? Everyone has different goals and desires, and my lessons are tailored to them. I teach everyone, young and old, who wants to learn Dutch or improve their skills. I believe it's important to structure the lessons so that everyone gets the most out of each hour, while also allowing room for variety and improvisation. My experience as a teacher and educational psychologist has taught me how to quickly put people at ease. Moreover, I've personally experienced what it's like to learn a foreign language (German and English), so I can easily empathize.
