I am looking to help a high school or middle school student with learning math and physics concepts or with their homework as well as possibly prepare them for exams. I am a masters student at ETH in Zurich. I have a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and have very good knowledge in Maths and Physics especially. I also took the IB Diploma so I have extra experience there in the style of teaching and examination for the IB exams. I have experience tutoring kids from the age of 8 to 18.

This course can be an opportunity for small kids (<= 12 yr. old) to stimulate their curiosity as well as to answer their many whys. For teenagers, this can serve as a complement to the high school classes and offer a fresh perspective on what the future would be. I graduated in Physics at ETH Zurich in 2021 and I did my bachelor in Italy. Previously I was a tutor for high school kids in physics and mathematics.

Physics can be great fun if taught properly. It provides answers to the most crucial questions, like why is the sky blue, how is a star created and how does does a compass needle rotate? Mostly, my teaching is concentrated not on exam preparation, which is also possible, but on leading a person through the path of science, showing its hidden beauty and, hopefully, helping him/her to fall in love with the subject. Note about math and physics: I am more oriented on theory. My main goal is not to teach how to solve particular problems (which is also a very important skill to obtain), but to explain the logical chain of thoughts that led to the development of the whole field. In other words, I am leading a person step-by-step to a full understanding of everything that is going on in every equation and idea. Unfortunately, I don't speak German, only English, and Russian.
