You can contact me to learn classical singing technique. I have a bachelor's and master's degree in classical singing and 20 years of stage experience. In recent years, I have also received further training in singing techniques for pop songs and musical theatre songs. I followed the CVT basic course and the Tools for Teachers training at Cordula Klein Goldewijk. It was very enjoyable to me and valuable additional knowledge to learn more about these techniques, and about the differences and similarities with classical singing technique. So I can teach in both styles, but I have far more performing experience in classical singing and opera. I can help you with: - learning good breathing technique/breath support - equalizing your voice (the 'voice break') - choosing the right repertoire - learning to use your natural acoustic optimally - relaxation of the mouth and throat area - twang - stage presentation - basic level ear training - basic level of reading music Experience is not necessary, but being open to learn is!

I have studied classical piano for over 10 years and have completed my Royal Conservatory of Music studies in Canada. I have over 3 years of experience teaching singing and piano to young students (as early as age 4) to beginner adults at the City of Toronto Parks and Recreation Programs. Hi! Im Swar! Ive been a guitar tutor for the past 8 years. Ive taught over 100 students how to play the guitar I myself have played in several bands and also been a part of a band that has opened for famous artists such as God is am astronaut, karnivool, etc. I have a simple funda: practice! Playing the guitar is a physical skill, I aim to give you enough practice to master this. The practice doesnt have to be boring! Every class you learn a little but of theory and a song to compensate for the theory ;) (except for the first class where you aren't allowed to touch the guitar). I personalize the class plan per student based on their learning needs. Minimum ‘boring’ theory if you know you're a hobbyist! And lots of theory for the nerdy music lovers! I am an Italian soprano, graduated from the Dutch National Opera Academy. I work as a soloist as a freelance singer, and I teach singing to students of different levels and ages for many years. The most important thing during my lessons is to help the student find a healthy and comfortable way of singing! During the first part of the lesson, we will focus on Technique and breathing, while during the second part of the lesson we will focus on the repertoire chosen together with the student, applying the aspect of the technique that we worked on previously in the lesson.

From my childhood I have been studying music and art: sang in choir and solo, played piano, painted, studied music history and literature, solfeggio. Later in college I have also learned choir conducting, had ensemble and choir singing lessons, cultural studies. During last year in university I had pedagogy practice at university and at private art school (where I worked as a music tutor before the war - piano, voice). I truly enjoyed working with students. They all were different age (8 - 40+ years old) and level. But all were very interesting and work was pleasant. My education was very various: my core subjects were conducting, choir, voice, piano. So it allowed me to work with children, teens and adults with quite wide range of interests and needs: some students needed/wanted to learn particular composition(s), sometimes pop songs arrangements, some were interested in “introduction” to the music, some wanted to renew skills they gained in their childhood and continue their journey to the music world. In addition I prepared presentations (which contained information about cultural and historical background and musical and character/art analysis). So after graduation from choir conducting faculty (which allowed me to deepen my knowledge in many important compatible branches) I concentrated on studying classical singing and piano, expanded my cultural studies and analysis knowledge, practiced solfeggio and harmony.
