你好!Grüezi!Hola!Hello! I'm a Confucius Institute (the ONLY globally recognized official institution for teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages) certified Mandarin teacher. I'm also an official YCT (Youth Chinese Test)/ HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test)/ HSKK (Chinese Proficiency Spoken Test) test examiner. In addition to giving private lessons, I also teach Chinese at international schools and lead Mandarin immersion Spielgruppe (playgroup) in the German-speaking part of Switzerland. My speciality is teaching children between the age of 2.5 and 12 in an immersive and interactive learning environment. By means of guided game-playing, painting, story-reading, drama activities, song-singing, dancing, and handcraft-making, kids achieve organic language acquisition while having a lot of fun. The predominant features you will find in my class are tailor-made teaching materials and methods that are customized to best suit your specific study objectives (Preschooler Chinese, K-12 Chinese, YCT, HSK, Beginner Chinese, Conversational Chinese, Business Chinese...etc.). As a language learner myself (B.A. major in Spanish and currently studying German), I have great patience and willingness to help you on your journey towards Chinese proficiency, because I know how frustrating it could get at times. Being in the shoes of a linguistics student for years also enables me to better instruct you, as I understand very well what are the things a learner would find helpful. The lessons include simple rhythms, hand movements, and basic finger techniques, helping students take their first steps in playing the piano. They will learn to recognize the piano keys, play simple melodies, and basic chords, which will improve their musical abilities and rhythmic skills. Also will try four hands piano playing . Preparation for all levels of ABRSM exams.

I have been teaching piano for the past 7 years. I started tutoring piano as a side hustle when I was 16 years old and it ended up turning into the most wonderful achievement I have ever done. Over the past 7 years, I have had the pleasure of teaching children from beginners to the final exam on ABRSM. I am part of a worldwide voice community, The Institute for Vocal Advancement (IVA) and I am regularly receiving training and being tested to be the best singing teacher I can be for you. Some of the teachers in this community I am part of, teach big names of the music industry. I have learnt directly from them. That means that when we have a lesson, you will be getting the same training as stars like Brandon Flowers (The Killers), Seal, Dan Reynolds (Imagine Dragons), Barbara Streisand, Michael Jackson, Brendon Urie (Panic! at the disco) many broadway artists and singers from all possible music styles have learnt with. In our lessons I will analyze your voice, define a goal for the lesson and trace a plan to achieve that goal. Then we will do vocal exercises that work almost like going to the gym, but for the muscles inside your larynx. Finally we will go through song application, and since I am also a singer/songwriter with a career of more than 10 years, I can help you with interpretation and stylistic choices.
