French and English courses - from primary to high school - Adults

A print journalist for 20 years, a trainer for 8 years in French as a Foreign Language and a trainer in French language proficiency in a private institution, I offer French courses for foreign / non-French-speaking adults. I am a trainer in a private institution and I have also been a volunteer in a socio-linguistic workshop for migrants since 2018 for Médecins du Monde in Toulouse. I created my French training company and I am self-employed. I live in Toulouse and I can travel in the Toulouse region and the Gers. For learners who live abroad, courses are held via Google Meet or WhatsApp. After a first assessment which will allow us to define your needs, we will improve your knowledge of the French language and the fluidity of your conversations in French. My goal is to make your French perfectly understandable and to give you back your daily autonomy thanks to the practice of this language. I will provide you with suitable written and audio material. We will talk a lot and in a good mood! I also speak English, Italian and Spanish when needed. I can come to your workplace during your breaks or to your home. I also offer webcam lessons. I can also help you proofread and correct your manuscripts, internship reports, dissertations, theses as well as the writing of your administrative or professional documents. I offer refresher courses in French for adults. If French is your mother tongue but you need a refresher in writing... Do not penalize your professional development. Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart. I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Learn the schedules by heart. 2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both students and adults who want to learn the Latin language or deepen their knowledge without time-consuming detours through the insanities of school methods which do not produce results. Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning in a positive state of mind. I offer individual or group Latin lessons (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive sciences and in particular historical linguistics. What will not be the subject of the course: learn lists of verbs; learn lists of nouns with their gender; learn words with their translations; memory card game; doing school exercises; follow the program in a notebook; impose French grammar on the Latin language. What matters to me in particular: motivate my student and give him a learning rhythm; encourage creativity; make friends with language; letters and their sounds strengthen your memory by working on the phonological loop; teach construction plans instead of having people learn sentences by heart; explain how the language works to make my student independent as quickly as possible; breaking preconceived ideas such as the gammatical gender would have a link with the biological gender, the accusative would be a direct complement and the dative an indirect complement, the verbs would be irregular, the declension would be random and therefore to be learned with each verb... ; place practice at the center and articulate grammar around practice.
