Did you always wanted to improve your singing but you never had the time?
If you're up for some creativity in this Quarantine weeks, I offer you singing classes through Skype.
I suggest to work on 3 main aspects, which are divided into LEI (Learning, Exploring, Interpret + info below):

- REPERTOIRE (Learning): Choose a song you love

- TECHNIQUE (Exploring): Let's discover all you can do with your own instrument, your voice. I will give you some techniques to extend the possibilities in your Voice ('Embodied Voice', + info below)

- INTERPRETATION (Interpret): there are infinite ways to transmit a song! More ways than humans on earth, because each one of us can do many interpretations of one single song. We will explore the different ways to learn a song.

Singing is the oldest instrument we have, people sang while working, in gatherings, to their loved ones... but now days singing make people shy, make them lose confidence in their voice. That's why I want to offer some concrete tools that can help you to clearly understand what you feel when you sing and find the way in what you want to sing. I want that it feels good!! Singing cannot be suffering (like so many other things ... )

METHOD: Embodied Voice
The voice, our instrument, is not only the vocal cords in our throat, but it is also your whole body and the energy you carry. If you move your arm while you're singing it will affect the sound, but also any emotion you feel.
Let's embody your voice by singing while connecting: Emotion, Body, Mind, and Guts.

I am graduating this year on Jazz Vocals in Arnhem Artez Institute of Arts and Conservatory Liceu, Barcelona
I have done several Feldenkrais courses with Ohad Natchmani which helped me to build up my own technique.

Artistic:
I am a singer and violinist in The Escarteen Sisters, the duo I have with my Sister.

Pedagog:
I worked for 6 years in Tallers de Música, a music school in Barcelona. I have experience in teaching people of different ages. And I also did private lessons.

I love to teach and have this exchange of knowledge and experiences with the student. I also learn a lot.
I can adapt to the needs of the student.
I am flexible with dates and schedules.

I love to teach and learn from eachother. The student can be really clear in the directions and I can adapt.
I like to be creative and try to find the best way for the student to understand and learn.
Have fun is the base of my lessons. I think it is important to find an effortless way to learn, and avoid pain and sufferment, keeping motivation and wisdom as the main stream, that is what i try to get in my lessons.

Before University I studied in Tallers de Música (Barcelona) with Odette, Escola de Música.

Singing is fun, singing is easy, singing is good for you.
Discover a healthy way of using your voice and unlock its potential.
My method includes the understanding of how the larynx, jaw and tongue work and can be function freely, and how the breath flow can come through by using the correct support muscles, that we forget how to engage over our adult life, unlike when we were children. This should provide an effortless and beautiful sound that is your own unique voice.

Piano is surely amongst the most interesting instrument in the world for a simple reason: compared to the other instruments that are usually limited to one voice, piano uses the ten fingers at the same time, giving hundreds of possibilities of different voicings and harmony.

I am a French student studying in the Hague. My passion has always been piano. I did 9 years in a French music academy where I finished the entire curriculum. I have been teaching piano to 4 students the two last years in London and I am willing to continue transmitting my passion now that I am in the Hague.

I teach piano to people of all age, without omitting to mention a little bit of music theory so that students get a clear understanding of the instrument they are playing. All this in a fun way! For example, understanding and analyzing how modern tubes and hit songs are made is a fun way to learn music without necessarily using a more conventional method. My students can play whatever music they want, from classical pieces, to jazz themes, all the way to modern tic-toc songs, I always let them play what they want. The most important is to enjoy, this is the really key to progress.

Hi !

I am Héloïse, a french cellist and singer who lives in The Netherlands since two years. I finished to study at HKU Utrecht Conservatorium in june and am now a professional musician and, among other a cello teacher at the Lindenberg Center in Nijmegen.

After teaching music theory for two years in a french conservatory, I realised how much teaching is very important for me and helps me to grow as a musician. I like to adapt to the student and try to find a solution in any pedagogical situation.
I can teach all cello and singing levels, and all ages. I can also give some music theory lessons.
The lessons can be at my place in The hague or online but also at the student place, in english or french.
