My name is Ashley! I've had many experiences tutoring and working with children of different age groups and backgrounds, because I'm especially passionate about helping people overcome their learning barriers and achieve their potential. I am a native English and Chinese speaker, who have also grown up speaking Bahasa Indonesian. I am comfortable teaching Maths up to High School advanced level (depending on the syllabus eg. GCSE, International Baccalaureate), and English and Literature for both second-language and first-language speakers.

Hi, My name is Ashley Yong, I'm a recent graduate in Economics and Policy Sciences who's now living in The Hague, Netherlands. I've had many experiences tutoring and working with children of different age groups and backgrounds, from English for refugee high school students, fire-building and marine wildlife identification for 10 years olds, and swimming for my non-bouyant friends! I enjoy helping people grow, overcome their weaknesses, build their confidence and ultimately, acheive their fullest potential.

Your skill level or experience does not matter, as I would cater my lessons according to your individual strength and abilities. I believe patience, openness and communication is important, and the best combination for an optimum learning environment. As such, I am also comfortable tutoring second-language English speakers. Actuellement étudiant à l'école des Mines à Paris, je suis issu d'une formation en classes préparatoires Mathématiques et Physique (MPSI). Je serais à la Haye cet été pendant 4 mois à partir de la mi-juin 2016.

Je vous propose des cours intensifs de préparation avant la rentrée, ou pour des étudiants en Terminale, des cours de préparation aux matières scientifiques de l'enseignement supérieur français.

J'ai déjà suivi de nombreux étudiants au lycée ou bien dans le supérieur, et tous s'en sont très bien sortis en Mathématiques/Physique/Chimie. Having obtained the International Option Baccalaureate (OIB) in Scientific Mathematics specialty with honors this year, I am bilingual in French and English, and I have a level of Terminale S in maths. I know how to give lessons to little ones by making the lessons fun, but I also understand the difficulty posed by the French baccalaureate, being myself there, and can therefore transmit my learning experience to high school students.

During all of my studies, I have tutored high-schoolers and bachelor students in Mathematics, French and Italian.

TU Delft is Europe's most prestigious university for aerospace studies, preparing some of the best engineers. However the selection procedure is tough and demanding, and only those prepared have a chance to succeed.

As a TU Delft student, I know from first hand how stressfull this process is, and can therefore help you succeed in the preparation of these exams. I have previous experience as a tutor back in high school, helping students improve their grades from Cs to As.

Moreover, I have an extensive knowledge on the subjects tested on these exams, having taken them myself, completed the courses at university with excellent grades and teaching over 10 students for the entrance exam.

Throughout the class, I will use a presentation to explain the main concepts of each exam (Maths, Physics and Aerospace Engineering), focusing on those subjects the student is struggling with most.
