Navigating through a busy day in an English-speaking school for an English-As-Additional-Language learner can be daunting. As a teacher working in English-speaking international schools for nearly 8 years, I am passionate about supporting students with learning difficulties through coaching and tutoring. I aspire to make a positive impact on the learning and overall well-being of students.

I have been a class teacher of various academic subjects taught in English. I have been a learning support teacher for students with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia and other learning difficulties. My students range from early years to teenagers. I believe that important life and study skills, such as good study habits, daily routines, organization, time management, thinking skills and problem solving skills, can be acquired through positive mentorship, explicit and creative instruction, as well as guided quality repeated practice.

In my teaching practice, I bring fitness, social emotional learning, mindfulness and positive behavior reinforcement into my work with students and support student well-being. I aspire to become a learning intervention specialist through practice, research and service to make a difference in student learning.

Hi there. This is Ju-Ann. I am a native Mandarin Chinese speaker and my English is excellent. I have taught in international schools for nearly 9 years, mostly in Primary School. I was a class teacher teaching various core academic subjects in English. I was also a learning support teacher for students with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia and other learning difficulties. My students range from early years to teenagers. Born and bred in Mainland China, I have lived in both Asia, Europe and the US. This helps me grow to be an international citizen and a worldly educator.

In addition, I am also a certified Hatha yoga teacher and a kids yoga teacher.
