I offer professional Brass instruments (Bariton, Tenorhorn, Euphonium, Trombone, Trumpet, Tuba) lessons for children from the age of four, for teenagers and adults. Whether beginner or advanced, that doesn't matter to me. Every motivated student of trumpets is welcome with me. I see it as my job to promote the particular character of each student. Playing the trumpet is an art that is difficult to explain. To become a good Brass player, you need more than “just” to master your instrument. Practice is a basic requirement. Young Brass students, children in particular need the support and support of their parents in the learning process, but the joy in the practice lessons should not be left behind. The focus of my lessons is on conveying musical understanding, sound technology and music literature from classical to klezmer to jazz. Elements such as transpose, orchestral replacement and sight reading are also taken into account in the lessons. I accompany the students as they prepare for competitions and auditions. I am happy to support you in improving your stage presence. I offer one-on-one and two-on-one classes. I teach the pocket trumpet for children. Furthermore, cornet, B and C trumpet (American and German) as well the Bariton, Tenorhorn, Euphonium, Tuba and Trombone.

¡Hola! Soy un trompista español residiendo en Colonia. Empecé a tocar la trompa a los 6 años y estudié mi licenciatura en Madrid y mi máster en Amsterdam. Ofrezco lecciones sobre trompa moderna e histórica (trompa barroca o trompa natural).

No importa cuál sea su nivel, edad o expectativas, soy un profesor flexible con experiencia en enseñar a personas de todas las edades, niveles, preferencias musicales y orígenes. Las lecciones se adaptarán al progreso, las circunstancias y los requisitos del estudiante.

HI! I am Lenart and I am currently a student at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I have been playing the trumpet for more than 15 years and have experience in many different music genres like Jazz, Pop, Classical, Baroque. I graduated from the Academy of Music in Ljubljana. I used to do a lot of teaching (young to old) when I was still residing in Slovenia. My desired goal as a teacher is to show you an easy and fun way to master a new skill or some new aspects of it, but not to fill your head with unnecessary things that will make your progress hard and slow.

I have studied with some of the biggest names of classical and jazz trumpet worldwide like: Omar Tomasoni, Miroslav Petkov, Reinhold Friedrich, Chris Colleti and many more.

With piano lessons, we do a combination of note reading, music theory, improvising and with horn lessons we work on breathing and other technical aspects of brass playing. I would be very happy to help to prepare horn students for Hochschule entrance exams as well.

I believe that one of the most important aspects of being a teacher is developing my students’ confidence as well as developing their ability to step out of their comfort zone. En el campo de la docencia, he sido profesor interino en el Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Lorca (España).
