Me llamo Álvaro y soy saxofonista profesional.
Mi experiencia como pedagogo está respaldada por mi amplia formación académica.
Tengo titulación superior y master tanto en perfil de música clásica como en Jazz.
Llevo impartiendo clases de saxofón desde hace más de 10 años, en los cuales he trabajado tanto como profesor privado, como en escuelas de música municipales y privadas en España y Alemania.

I love to work with both professionals and those, who have never played the clarinet before or are just starting and wanting to improve. I can be your teacher or a help in practicing. I'm experienced in teaching, performing solo, in orchestra and chamber music. I am a laureate of over 30 clarinet competitions solo and a member of Mahler Jugendorchester. Clarinet is considered one of the most popular instruments in Western music and was W.A. Mozart's favorite instrument.

I am a clarinetist and clarinet teacher and completed my studies in Germany and Austria. At the moment I play actively in various ensembles and orchestras with repertoire from baroque to modern. I also teach privately for all ages.

The clarinet is a single-reed musical instrument in the woodwind family, with a nearly cylindrical bore and a flared bell.

Clarinets comprise a family of instruments of differing sizes and pitches. The clarinet family is the largest woodwind family, ranging from the BB♭ contrabass to the E♭ soprano. The B♭ soprano clarinet is the most common type, and is the instrument usually indicated by the word "clarinet".

German instrument maker Johann Christoph Denner is generally credited with inventing the clarinet sometime around the year 1700 by adding a register key to the chalumeau, an earlier single-reed instrument. Over time, additional keywork and airtight pads were added to improve the tone and playability. Today the clarinet is a standard fixture of the orchestra and concert band and is used in classical music, military bands, klezmer, jazz, and other styles.

I offer private saxophone lessons for all who are interested - every age/level is welcome. I can help with technique, personal improvement , mental and focus techniques, as well as preparing for any specific goals such as school programs/youth orchestra auditions etc. Music genres: classical, jazz and modern music.
