I am currently a Live Electronics Student at Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel. I have been playing bass professionally for 4 years. I played and recorded bass for almost every genre from classical to house, from jazz to metal. So even if you just want to get better at recording bass for your rap beats, I can help you.

I am from Istanbul and I have been in Belgium for almost 2 years now. I can't wait to meet all of you and to groove better together.

I teach music online (Skype, Zoom, Whatsapp...) and in-person in Brussels and Waterloo, Belgium. Nearly 30 years of experience. 800+ students taught.

All lessons are individual lessons (no group classes). The focus is on learning modern styles of the past, say, 80 years: rock, blues, jazz, reggae, singer-songwriter, folk, pop, country, bossa nova... rather than older classical or traditional Spanish guitar music.

Also, I arrange band workshops, recording workshops, and learn to jam sessions, to get you playing with other musicians and performing/recording. This has resulted in two local rock bands... The Manneken Pistols and The KBH Boogie Band who both play regularly around Brussels and who were featured recently on Bruzz TV.

Le cours de guitare Basse, de Solfège ou de piano permettra d'avoir une initiation pour une personne n'ayant aucune notion là dessus ou n'étant pas forcément étrangère à certains concepts liés autour de l'instrument.

Le travail sera effectué par étapes en tenant compte du niveau de l'élève, l'objectif poursuivi ainsi que le temps dédié, tout cela de manière structurée, ludique et en prenant surtout du plaisir.

Il sera question des éléments basiques tels que les majeurs/mineurs, les gammes, les intervalles, etc..

Ce travail progressif mis en place consolidera les fondations pour développer l'apprentissage au fil du temps.

Pro tools est l'outil phares en ce qui concerne l'ingénierie sonore. En tant qu'ingénieur du son vous serez mener à exécuté différente taches tels que l'enregistrement, l'analyse et le traitement de pistes audio (voix et/ou instruments). Vous devrez être en mesure d'établir un diagnostic sonore chirurgical afin de repérer les différents traitements à effectué sur vos pistes et les outils (plug-ins) à utiliser pour garantir le meilleur rendu possible.

"Shit in shit out", cette expression s'applique à tous et désigne le fait qu'une mauvaise piste au départ (à l'enregistrement) restera une mauvaise piste à l'arrivée (au mixage).

p.ex : Une piste saturé restera saturé malgré les différents traitement appliqué dessus.

Avec ce cours vous apprendrez à :

- Repérer et reconnaitre les différentes fréquences.

FRENCH:
I have been in music since I was 5 years old, I decided to make it my job and so I studied at the Brussels Conservatory (Master level). I specialize in jazz but my favorite field remains Groove music. I also went through a lot of styles (rock, funk, pop, reggae,...) during my years of learning the bass.

To get an idea of my playing style, my main influence in Jazz bass is Dario Deidda.
I'm very inspired by "underground" bands from Brussels like Stuff, ECHT, Tukan, Jean-Paul Groove, Ciao Kennedy,...
Abroad I could mention Athletic Progression, KUF, Takuya Kuroda, Vels trio, Vulfpeck (and dozens of others!)
Without forgetting the classics like Parliament, Earth Wind and fire, PUSH, Jamiroquai,...

I don't have a particular method. Unless my student requests it, my lessons are done by feeling according to his desires and his objectives. We can very well just learn pieces and at the same time deepen the technique and the knowledge of the music if requested. The goal is to have fun.

ENGLISH:
I started music when I was 5 and later decided to make it my job. I studied in Brussel's jazz Conservatory (Master).
I'm specialized in Jazz but my roots are in Groove music. I also learned to play different styles (rock, funk, pop, reggae,...)
