Soy un profesor de mandarín certificado por el Instituto Confucio (la ÚNICA institución oficial reconocida mundialmente para enseñar chino a hablantes de otros idiomas).

También soy examinador oficial de YCT (Examen de chino para jóvenes)/ HSK (Examen de competencia en chino)/ HSKK (Examen de competencia oral en chino).

Además de dar clases particulares, también enseño chino en escuelas internacionales y dirijo Spielgruppe (grupo de juego) de inmersión en mandarín en la parte de habla alemana de Suiza. Mi especialidad es enseñar a niños de entre 2,5 y 12 años en un entorno de aprendizaje inmersivo e interactivo. Por medio de juegos guiados, pintura, lectura de cuentos, actividades de teatro, canto, baile y artesanía, los niños logran la adquisición orgánica del lenguaje mientras se divierten mucho.

Las características predominantes que encontrará en mi clase son materiales y métodos de enseñanza personalizados que se adaptan mejor a sus objetivos de estudio específicos (chino para niños en edad preescolar, chino K-12, YCT, HSK, chino para principiantes, chino conversacional, chino comercial... .etc.).

Como estudiante de idiomas (BA con especialización en español y actualmente estudio alemán), tengo una gran paciencia y voluntad para ayudarlo en su viaje hacia el dominio del chino, porque sé lo frustrante que puede llegar a ser a veces. Estar en la piel de un estudiante de lingüística durante años también me permite instruirte mejor, ya que entiendo muy bien cuáles son las cosas que un alumno encontraría útiles.

I run private lessons, where all levels are welcome. But if you’re a total beginner then I offer basic classes to help you find the way to get into it.

I develop diverse methods of teaching for the students. For the around 5-8 years old kids, I would like to set certain games to play with them, thereby the kids can learn the new language during the interaction and communication. In this way, different media, like color pictures, puppets, or storybooks are essential to make the course very attractive. For the teenager or advanced students, a structuralized teaching content based on scenarios or textbook could help the students to develop their language capacity efficiently in different aspects – listening, reading, speaking, and writing. Besides, I would like to give a deeper perspective for the Chinese- not only learning the language from the textbooks, but also the knowledge of the language, the culture, and the literature.

Also, based on your need and situation, we choose different textbooks and make a personal teaching plan for you.

I’m Kurt, based in Munich. I teach Mandarin Chinese and Japanese with a linguistic background. Find learning an exotic, Asian language cool but don't know where to get started with? Or are you already been frustrated by them: why Japanese drops the subject all the time? Why Chinese has no past tense while you still know when it happened?
