The teaching modalities depends on your needs and purposes, providing you personalized lessons.
You can decide to focus on conversation, grammar, vocabulary or I can give you also some tipps for the TestDaf exam, if you're learning for the german certificate.

I can offer lessons in Italian, German, English and Spanish. The classes will be online, because I will be traveling during the next months.

Till February the classes will be just on the weekends, afterwards also during the week.

About Me

Hi everyone,

I´m Julia, half Italian and half German. I grew up in Sicily and lived the last 10 years in Berlin, where I studied Architecture.

Since I grew up in Italy you want learn just the Italian language with me, but the italian way of thinking and living as a culture. I will also teach you some german culture, but I have to admit I will always feel more Italian than German, don't say that to my mother 😉

My passions are traveling, learning new languages and discover new cultures and places.
After studying and working for the last 12 years, I'm starting a new chapter of my life.
At the end of February I will fly to South America for a new adventure and I'm so excited for it. Wish me good luck 🍀

- I'm a professional Italian teacher from Italy, now living between Pisa and Rome. I have 10 years of teaching experience. I am very patient and I love to make a relaxed and friendly class environment. I have qualifications and experience teaching at different levels and in different contexts. - The method is mainly what is called communicative, aimed at stimulating the student to speak immediately and putting the focus on the functional aspect of the language. Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:

When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ... You know that numbers are formed according to a certain pattern. With only ten digits, you can form an infinite number of numbers and always know which number comes next.

When it comes to the alphabet, words and sentences, it's more or less the same, but school pedagogy, school textbooks and regular lessons still follow the rote learning approach. In the lessons I propose, you will learn to use patterns because this is more efficient and faster.

Learning is easy, but unlearning bad habits is extremely difficult. This makes it all the more important to learn the right reflexes as early as possible.

As an Italian Opera singer, I help since many years singers with the right pronunciation of the repertoire they sing, helping them in shaping the language in a clear way, which also helps the singing.

Our lesson will involve speaking, pronunciation exercises and singing.
We will start the lesson by reading the text and finding the right direction and emphasis.
