Private tutoring should be engaging, interactive, and most importantly fun. Although I can’t promise my teaching material will be fun, I will make sure the learning environment is friendly, stress-free, and interesting. I will be teaching with the Chinese National Putonghua Shuiping Ceshi system, which offers the most prestigious and accurate Mandarin learning opportunities across Asia.
In these lessons, you will learn pronunciation, vocabulary, sentence formation, listening, storytelling, and eventually reading skills. By reading stories and entry level literature pieces, general comprehension ability can be boosted. We will start from Pinyin (romanised spelling of Chinese words), and finish at reading passages.

As someone who grew up in a multilingual family with a rich cultural background, I have a deep passion for connecting with people from diverse backgrounds and exchanging ideas and experiences. Having settled in the UK, I've come to understand that learning or mastering a second language can sometimes be a challenging endeavour. That's why I'm dedicated to making Mandarin Chinese language learning fun, engaging, and rewarding for English speakers.

Tested grade B level 2 in National Putonghua Proficiency (prestigious Mandarin language test in Asia)
