Music is something I am passionate about! When I teach, I teach technique, theory, and how to read. Learning to read music is a big part of my lessons. We will work on learning songs as well as scales and theory. My lessons are very tailored to the goals of the individual! We could work on Beethoven one day and a Beatles song the next! It is based on the student's goals.

My name is Gianna and I am a piano and voice teacher. I am 23 years old but have been playing piano since I was 7. I started with the Royal Conservatory program where I competitively played classical piano. When I was 15, I switched to playing more jazz, pop, and rock music. In high school, I played in bands as a keyboardist and vocalist and sang in my high school's competitive chamber choir. I took advanced music theory classes throughout middle and high school. I have spent time in Europe solely playing music! In college, I began songwriting and performing as an artist in Nashville, TN (known as "Music City")

In addition, I have extensive experience as a guitar teacher, songwriter and performer.

I'm from the Netherlands and I've been living in Lisbon for more than 3 years.
