I offer business English coaching as a side activity to my main work. I am happy to work with you on specific assignments, interview preparation, or general practice for a professional English-speaking environment.

Since 2016, I have worked with a number of students to improve their professional English skills. This has included individuals who were applying to new jobs, looking to solve work-place problems or just wanting to feel more comfortable around English-speaking colleagues. I tailor my lessons to the needs of the particular student and keep things more focused on practical learning and skills, rather than theory or grammar. I do not posses formal teaching qualifications, and instead teach based on my own professional experience. I hope the testimonials from my previous students demonstrate the success of this method.

My main job is in consulting. I co-founded a company, Outsight International, in 2020 and have been working on various technology and innovation projects focused on humanitarian aid with EPFL, NGOs and UN organisations since.

Beyond this, I posses a wide range of experience covering development, health, innovation, technology and research. Having worked in DRC, Zambia and India with Medecins Sans Frontières as well as with other NGOs, I am well acquainted with the practical realities of delivering impact in 'the field', in the long and short term.

For a number of years, I have been consulting with a range of humanitarian organisations, universities and companies to improve innovation processes and outcomes. In particular, this has included managing projects focused on improving healthcare provision in hard to reach contexts through new technologies.

I am an experienced facilitator and has been closely involved in efforts to improve collaborations between the nonprofit, academic and commercial sectors in recent years. I also has significant experience in humanitarian monitoring and evaluation, as well as utilising human-centered design methodologies. Before this, previous roles included government, tech, business and research sectors.

I am based in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Difficulties in English or French? Learning a new language is not easy, nor is discovering a new culture. Learning is much easier when you have fun, and when the lesson is based on the child's interests.

Scientific research increasingly shows that we learn better while having fun, by adapting the teaching to our tastes. For English it's the same ... if your child is a fan of Minecraft or Pokemon, manga or drawing, we will approach the subject while reviewing the notions of English acquired or in the process of being acquired.
