Ti aiuterò nella preparazione di esami, test o certificazioni di lingua inglese, nella pratica nel parlato e scritto. Ti guiderò durante il tuo percorso di apprendimento dell’inglese, concentrandoci sul metodo d'apprendimento che più si adatta alle tue esigenze (uso del linguaggio nella vita quotidiana oppure preparazione ad un test)!

Prima di organizzare le nostre lezioni, ti farò qualche domanda per chiarire la tua situazione attuale, le tue esigenze e i tuoi obiettivi. Se hai delle debolezze su cui vuoi lavorare, segnalamele: mi preparerò di conseguenza! Dopo ogni lezione prenderò appunti su ciò che abbiamo fatto e preparerò un programma per un’eventuale lezione successiva. Se hai attività o idee che vorresti proporre per le lezioni, sentiti libero di condividerle!

La struttura delle lezioni è molto flessibile e personalizzabile, a seconda delle tue necessità. Ne parleremo più nel dettaglio prima di fissare la prima lezione e più nel dettaglio nel primo incontro.

Useremo sia risorse digitali che libri di testo di inglese in formato digitale per supportare il tuo apprendimento, anche se non ci concentreremo troppo. Non è necessario che tu abbia già del materiale, ma se possiedi risorse su cui desideri lavorare, condividile pure! In base alle tue esigenze preparerò degli esercizi che potremo svolgere insieme durante le lezioni. Se vuoi, puoi anche proporre tu stesso degli esercizi: potremo farli insieme, in parte o per intero, durante le lezioni.

Le domande sono sempre benvenute, anzi, ti incoraggio a farle! Te lo dice uno che a lezione è quello che fa sempre domande stupide: non esistono domande stupide. Le domande che potrebbero sembrare banali agli altri potrebbero essere quelle che ti faranno afferrare un concetto o ti chiariranno le idee. Ognuno ha il proprio stile di apprendimento, ed è assolutamente normale.

Le lezioni si svolgono principalmente su Zoom o Google Meet.
In questo momento vivo ad Helsinki, quindi non ho opportunità di fare lezioni in presenza.

Hello, my name is Pasquale and I was born in the south of Italy in the year 2000.

I am an italian native speaker with a passion for writing. I participated in local italian grammar olympics back in high-school (back in my days 🤣). I published a poetry book in italian and I'm currently working on a fantascientific book.

I have been living in Finland for two years and, by communicating in english daily, have been refining it since then.
Currently I am sending my applications for eventually starting a PhD in my field. In the meantime, I joined Apprentus to share my skills and earn some extra income. I’m currently saving up for a trip to Thailand to finally meet my long-distance girlfriend.

Before we set up our lectures, I will likely ask you some questions to clarify your needs and goals. If you have any weaknesses you would like to address, mention them and I will prepare for that! After every lecture, I will take notes of what we did and prepare a schedule for an eventual next lecture! If you have any suggested activity, feel free to ask! I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Sapienza University of Rome, graduating with 110 with honors in 2022.
After that, I completed my C1 Cambridge Certification in English with grade C2 and applied for a Master's degree in Life Science Informatics in University of Helsinki.
I graduated on the 31st of July 2025.

# Course set-up

I can help you in the preparation of italian language tests, exams or certifications in speaking or writing practice. I will guide you during your italian learning journey, focusing on a way of learning that fit your needs the most (real language use versus test preparation)!

Before we set up our lectures, I will likely ask you some questions to clarify your current situation, needs and goals. The lecture structure is very free and customizable, depending on your needs. We will discuss more about this before scheduling our first lecture and especially during the first lecture.

We will both use digital resources and digital italian textbooks to assist your learning. You don't need to obtain your own resources, but if you have some you need help with, feel free to share! Based on your needs, I will prepare some exercises that we can do together during lectures. You can also propose your own exercises and we can do them together during or in part of the lectures!

Questions are always very welcomed and even encouraged, both outside and inside lectures! Being the guy that always asks stupid questions in class: there are no stupid questions. Questions that might look stupid to others could be the ones that allow you to finally grasp a concept and make everything clear. Everybody has a different learning style, and that's fine.

# Lecture modality

The lessons are thought to be primarly via Zoom or Google Meet.
However, if you live in near Helsinki and you prefer face-to-face lectures, we can book a public room somewhere and have our lessons there! Feel free to book more than one hour in the same day, although I wouldn't recommend more than two hours of language learning in a row.

A qualified language coach with 25 years of experience offers intensive Dutch lessons in a small class or online.

I give many Dutch NT2 lessons to expats and in preparation for an integration exam.
Specialized in guiding for the State Exam I and II. Special exam coach.

In January 2025 I will also start with groups again. We have a great classroom in the center of Rotterdam, near metro station Beurs, lessons with small homogeneous groups (little difference in level).

We mainly go for quality and not just running a lesson. I am really involved in the progress of the student. In addition to teaching, I want to do everything to really motivate students to take the next step. That is my strength!

You can also choose the online lesson package with Whereby, Teams or Zoom in a comfortable way. Online classes are one-on-one or maximum one-on-two, for better results.

My English is fluent, as well as Portuguese and Spanish. I understand the difficulties of overcoming barriers for Latin languages and for expats in general, as I have also been an expat.

Online lessons last 75 minutes once a week for 10 weeks to reach a higher level.

This is the normal speed. Including exam training (A-2 or Staatsexamen) and exam at the end.

Intensive training ? That can also be done in five to ten full days, I am used to giving these very intensive trainings to CEOs or managers who want it faster and more intensive ... all lessons within 3 or 4 weeks. Based on the European system A-1, A-2, B-1, B-2 and C-1

As soon as students want to further improve their knowledge of Dutch, I always advise and coach them to take the State Exam I or II, the only formal Certificate in this country, recognized by employers and universities.

I will try to switch to conversation after a few lessons, to put your knowledge into practice as soon as possible. Don't get too caught up in the grammar.

Teaching is my ultimate passion and even after 25 years it feels like the first time and students always feel inspired to overcome the obstacles.

I also teach you about Dutch social culture, which is intertwined in the course and is strongly related to the language.
