Percussion for ensemble members and drummers - beginning and intermediate

My expertise is in percussion instruments as parts of ensembles or bands. I am a university student from the United States with 5 years of performance and professional experience. I have performed using/have knowledge in the drum set, toms, marimba/xylophone, concert snare, concert bass, and other auxiliary percussion instruments. I also am capable of teaching a number of genres ranging from classical to jazz to rock and latin music. These are targeted for students with any number of goals, whether they are improving technique or learning sight reading or maybe learning particular scores and songs.
I particularly empathize with students or others who need to juggle music with other commitments, therefore I am open to and knowledgable in working under those conditions. I work with all ages and with students at the beginner and intermediate levels.

Students should bring their own sticks or mallets, however I have extras with me. Students studying anything other than the drum set should bring or have their instrument with them.

I am a WO graduate of Leiden University currently living in the Hague. I currently play in one band and have played in classical ensembles as part of my previous schooling. Music is one of my greatest passions, and I have learned to juggle it with other commitments over the years. This puts me in a great position to work with others in the same boat. Working with people is one of my strong-suits and I have enjoyed it for time immemorial.
My primary instrument is the drum set; this is what I am the most suitable to teach. I have played concerts, sessions, and gigs, and I know how to prepare for these kinds of events. Let me know what your goals are, and we can work to achieve them.

My name is Adrian and I am a drummer with 8 years of playing under my belt, including 3 years of professional experience. I am primarily a jazz, funk, and soul drummer with a traditional education who also has experience playing in concert percussion and marching bands. I teach music theory, technique, and several styles using visual and auditory materials. However, my lessons are primarily catered towards the learning goals and musical aspirations of the student.
