Dominyka is a professional singer, singing and piano teacher that is currently based in The Hague. She plays piano, violin and writes her own music.
Over the past decade she graduated from the Royal Conservatory in The Netherlands with Bachelor's and Master's degree in jazz singing and in pedagogical minor studies. She had a chance to participate in various music festivals as a singer, have concerts of her own, be behind the scenes in various TV shows, win several vocal competitions, and she truly developed her ears and her knowledge that she is now also able to help others to find their own unique singing voice.

She has developed her knowledge about vocal technique, CVT method, stage presence, body language, story telling, composition, writing, improvisation, and so on. with various great teachers from all over the world. As well as, she had an honour to participate in workshops of Snarky Puppy, Dianne Reeves, Dena DeRose, Bob Stoloff, Norma Winstone, Fay Classon, etc. In addition, she took a course of Stevie Mackey, Cheryl Porter and had lessons with Natalie Weiss.

"I feel like voice is a unique thing and music is such a good therapy. I believe everyone can sing, and I believe that everyone could sing greatly if they are patient and put work in it." - Dominyka

"I promise that with our singing lessons you will learn more about your own voice and that you will develop your own sound as a singer. We work on warm ups/warm downs, breath support and its control, sound projection, how the larynx, jaw and tongue work and can be functioned freely, vowel placement, vocal effects, vocal colour, dynamics, articulation, stage presence, high notes - power singing (belting), jazz improvisation, vocal improvisation, interpretations, rhythmic variations, and so much more. My goal for you is to have the best time and spend lesson's time wisely while we achieve the best results in singing. If there is a wish, I can also help you to broaden your knowledge about the repertoire that is suiting to your voice colour, recording sessions, live performance situations, "a workout plan for singing", songwriting/composing, music theory, ear-training, solfeggio, and such."

I can help all who are interested in finding their own authentic voice.

About Me

Singing and music is my life, and I was introduced to it at a very young age with dance classes, piano and violin classes, choir and ensemble lessons, and later private singing lessons.

I am myself a very positive person, and I do my best to have fun and exciting lessons with my pupils. Teaching is truly my passion, and I love to work with students that are passionate about music or seek to learn more. Not only we can learn singing techniques but also to calm our body, mind and feel more grounded.

I believe that school sometimes can put ourselves in the brackets and shape us in different ways, and I deeply think it is very important to hold to our own uniqueness and find our own voice. It brings so much joy and fulfilment when you are able to make music.

I believe I could be a great contribution to your daily life and I hope I can broaden your knowledge within my classes.

As someone who has taken singing lessons for the first time, I can fully recommend Dominyka - a nice blend of exercises and singing. She can easily recognize gaps (and guides on how to fix these gaps) and also ensures that a student is comfortable in order to unlock their own potential.
Dominyka is a great voice teacher. She has taught me many new vocal exercises and makes lessons fun. Highly recommended!
Dominyka is een heel lieve en leuke juf met veel aandacht voor de muzikaliteit van het kind waaraan ze lesgeeft.
Dominyka is very experienced and has an effective and engaging method of teaching. I have felt major improvements in only 2 lessons and am confident I will reach my best potential by continuing with her lessons!
I am very happy with Dominyka as my voice teacher. With her guidance, I have been able to improve my tone and widen my range much quicker than expected. Leessons are a joy: Dominyka can immediately hear and see what needs focus and explain what I must do to improve. This process is dynamic and fun, and I feel motivated to practice every day because I am inspired by these advancements. She can demonstrate many techniques with her beautiful voice. Most importantly, Dominyka is a trained and experienced teacher, so I know that my progress is healthy and sustainable. Highly recommended!

I believe that each student should embrace what they would love to play, and I would consider to be open to what student wishes to play. I am very adaptable with my teaching methods to each individual because everybody process information differently! You can expect to have a great time, and learn each lesson something new! In my lessons: * You will learn how to read the notes * You will learn how to read the chord symbols * You will learn how to play chord progressions * You will learn how to play melodies with both hands * You will develop the rhythm sense * You will learn how to connect your emotions into your playing * You will be confident on how to practise on your own * You will learn how to control dynamics * You will be able to accompany yourself * You will increase your memory * You will be fluent in music notation * You will learn to improvise * You will feel freedom while playing See you soon!

Piano Lessons for all ages, levels and musical taste - at the students' home
Hello! I am a classical pianist with a Master's Degree at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague. I have 6 years of teaching experience, with students from all ages and levels. My teaching methodology is focused on adapting to the student's needs and motivations, while passing on my knowledge to help the student to develop musical independence and create a personal connection with music. During the lessons, there are several aspects of piano playing that I can help with, according to the student's aims and musical level: - learning how to read scores - basics of music theory - develop technical capabilities - learning how to play by heart - finding your musical taste - preparing demanding works for piano exams And the most important aspect, to have fun and enjoy the journey!

Norica
Piano lessons& music theory for beginners and intermediates /ABRSM preparations
Hi there! My name is Norica. I am a pianist and a piano teacher from Tokyo. Just quickly to the point: My approach is holistic and systematic. It uses lots of fun exercise and nice educational materials from Japan in addition to the Internationally recognized standard books. (Don't worry, you don't have to understand Japanese!) You learn not only how to play piano but also how music works- music theory. I know what my students are good at and not so good at right off the bat. That's why I can tailor the lesson plans to their goals and needs. Also, if you like to take an ABRSM exam, the syllables will be tailored accordingly. So what will be tested on the day of exam are integrated into the lessons and my class/lesson offers all-round preparation for the exam. Another important aspect of my lesson is to focus on improving cognitive skills - increasing in memory, right-hand-left-hand-coordination, sustained attention, nonverbal communication, and a feeling of independence and freedom. I do so with unique materials from Japan and fun trainings. Currently students from 5 to 72 years old are taking my lessons. As an educator, I am committed to the process of learning while making lessons enjoyable and constructive. Please drop me a line if you're interested. If you have any questions about the lesson, feel free to ask. I will be happy to answer to all your questions! Thank you

Piano lessons for all levels (with music theory if wanted)
As an experienced solo pianist and ensemble player, I would love to share with you my passion for music. I believe that practicing an instrument can be a great activity for everybody. It trains coordination, memory, multitasking skills and brings a lot of satisfaction and fun. We can adjust activities in our lessons to your personal goals. Whether you want to apply for music school, prepare for a competition, learn how to read music notation, accompany somebody, or just play for your own enjoyment. We can focus on the repertoire that you would like to play - classical, pop, or film music. I can also teach music theory if you would like to.

Piano Lessons with two Grand Pianos. Preparations for ABRSM and Competition.
There are two grand pianos at the location in Den Haag. There will be enough distance between the student and the teacher. For children, it is important to develop basic musical skills through Singing, Rythmique, and Ear training besides piano playing. I use one technical exercise book, the main textbook, and a theory book. Through these 3 books, students learn different aspects of music and they naturally get ready for exams and grades. After acquiring basic skills, students study Harmony and Chord exercise too. These are useful for playing pops and jazz, and they obtain a deeper understanding of classical pieces too. Private Piano lesson, from age 4 above. Children can start the lesson after being able to read the number from 1 to 5 and the alphabet from A to G. Advanced students who want to prepare for competitions, auditions, ABRSM, GCSE, IB exams, or the entrance exam of the conservatory. The concert is held annually together with students of flute, violin, and composition teachers. For the age 1-7 years, I have group Rhythmique lessons.

Piano Lessons - from children to adults, any level. Classical music, pop/rock, etc.
Hello! I am classical pianist with a Master's degree at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag. I teach Piano (and also Music Education) since 2016, to both children and adults. Teaching allows me to bring my passion and enthusiasm for music to the students, and I also find incredibly rewarding to guide and follow their musical and technical development! I am easily adaptable to the students' musical taste and expectations/goals in music learning, and I am also very mindful of how I communicate, according to the students' ages and personalities. I can teach classical music, pop, rock, or any other style. My approach consists of: giving you the necessary theoretical knowledge for what you wish to play; involving you actively in the choice of the pieces/songs you will play; setting up a long-term plan for your repertoire, so that your development is made step by step in a challenging - but achievable - way (and this way, you will feel more motivated!); giving you enjoyable and creative practicing strategies; creating a rich imagery revolving around the piece - by making up a story, relating the music to emotions, etc.; and also positive feedback! Thus, my lessons will allow you to: - Learn how to read scores. -Develop your musical understanding (from notes, rhythm, harmony, to musical taste, emotional comprehension of the music, or dive into aesthetic principles concerning the period and style of the piece,...). -Improve, step by step, until you are able to play that piece/song that you love. -Prepare yourself for exams. -Etc. The best thing is that it's possible for you to learn all this and have fun at the same time! Any question, don't hesitate to contact me.

Carles
Piano classes in Den Haag, Delft and surroundings.
After finishing my Bachelor of Music in Barcelona and at Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, I have been working as a piano teacher and accompanist for public and private music schools in Catalonia, and I am currently pursuing a Master of Music at the Royal Conservatory. In my piano lessons, pupils will learn from the very fundamentals of piano playing to a precollege level. During the initial years, I prefer to structure students' learning into three core areas: Music reading, technical skills, and improvisation & free accompaniment (with more advanced learners placing less emphasis on reading). Other proficiencies such as memorization and expressivity also hold significant importance, yet my priority is always the discovery of joy and amusement while making music. Although my background lies in classical music, I teach a wide variety of styles. I allow the student to lead their learning journey, thus focusing on pieces that align with their interests while simultaneously exposing them to a broader range of musical genres and styles. I Can teach in English, Spanish and Catalan.

Marta
Singing lessons for children, teenagers and adults, music theory lessons
Welcome to my introduction site! My name is Marta and music has been a great love and passion for my entire life. Singing lessons are not only an opportunity to learn singing and something new about music but also an opportunity to express emotions, forget about everyday worries, and have fun! Through music theory lessons you can learn about the structure of music and also develop some very useful music skills such as reading music (sight-singing or sight-reading). All students who have a specific goal in mind, but also all who do not have any specific goal in mind and want to sing or learn theory just for fun, are very welcome! Different options for lessons which I am offering are described below and all of them can be modified and adjusted according to the wishes and needs of the student: SINGING LESSONS FOR CHILDREN (individual or group lessons - maximum 10 students*) Singing lessons for children is basically an integrated method that combines singing with solfeggio, developing basic music theory skills. It consists of playing musical games and singing children's songs and through those developing intonation, musical hearing, musical memory, sense for pulse and rhythm, all with the attention to healthy singing. SINGING LESSONS FOR TEENAGERS AND ADULTS (individual or group lessons - maximum 10 students*) During singing lessons we will be searching for a deeper meaning of the story and different ways of interpretation, with attention to healthy singing technique, pronunciation and style. The lessons consist of breathing exercises, vocal warm up exercises with a specific technical goal and work on the desired repertoire - meaning of the words and story, vocal technique, pronunciation, interpretation and style. My specialization is in classical singing but I don’t mind working on other genres in my classes. SIGHT SINGING LESSONS (individual or group lessons) Intense course where you will be learning how to read music at sight. The lessons consist of sight singing only, beginning from the easiest level and gradually learning how to read more and more difficult music. You will develop skills needed for sight singing as well as a certain way of thinking appropriate for sight singing. (There is no technique of singing or interpretation involved in these lessons.) SOLFEGGIO LESSONS (individual or group lessons, for children from 8 years old, teenagers and adults) In these lessons you will learn how to bring the written music to life (sight singing), how to discover and put on paper the music you hear (musical dictation) and how to build scales, intervals, and chords. This knowledge is needed and examined on every conservatoire and music academy. For some conservatoires and academies this is an obligatory pre-requirement and elimination factor on entrance exams. It is inevitable part of every professional music education. MUSIC THEORY LESSONS (individual lessons) Music theory lessons can include, if desired: solfeggio, harmony, counterpoint, music form, analysis, and/or other music theory related subjects. For each subject we can make a special program, depending on the wishes and needs of the student. COMBINED SOLFEGGIO AND SINGING LESSONS Combined solfeggio and singing lessons are also possible for adults, as separate subjects or integrated with singing lessons. In both cases the duration of each lesson is 90 minutes and the program is discussed and created based on the wishes and needs of the student. (A combination of individual singing lesson and a group solfeggio lesson is also possible.*) AUDITION TRAINING AND PREPARATION FOR EXAMS (individual lessons) Preparation for auditions concerning singing and/or music theory includes preparation for entrance exams, regular exams on conservatories or preparation for ABRSM exams. *Please, contact me for more information about group lessons. Prices per person in group lessons are much lower than prices for individual lessons. If you have any further questions, please, do not hesitate to contact me... I will be happy to answer all your questions!

Shintaro
Classical Piano Lessons by a real concert pianist (piano/fortepiano)
First of all, you shouldn’t chose an amateur teacher for a reason of a cheap price! I was struggling to play the piano because of a bad amateur piano teacher before I found real artistic teachers who have certain experiences as concert pianists. After years of removing bad behaviors and techniques, I got very conscious of using my body proper way while Practicing and got so much flexibilities on the piano. I would love to share what I learned with my students! Biography Shintaro is a unique pianist as performing modern and historical pianos parallel. He spent his childhood and student years in Japan. He already got the fırst prizes at several known national piano competitions in Japan while he was studying in Kyoto city University of Arts. At the year of his master graduation, he gave a solo recital in Kyoto and his recital was considered as one of the best performances of over 200 concerts in AOYMA Music Foundation. He earned The AOYAMA Music Awards in 2010 and graduated with summa cum laude, Several times, he performed as a soloist with several professional orchestras in Japan, and some of these concerts were broadcasted on TV and radio. Shintaro continued studying the piano in Lucerne with Konstantin Lifschitz supported by Hella Siegrist Fonds and AOYMA Music Foundation. He performed a concerto for left hand by Ravel with Lucerne Symphony Orchestra and James Gaffigan in KKL Lucerne Concert Hall in 2014. His performance was described as "a Brilliant pianist with solid technique and sensitivities" on Luzerner Zeitung. At the same time, his interests carried forward him to play chamber music and historical instruments and historical practices. He earned the first prize at Orpheus-Swiss Chamber Music Competition participated by master students of all Swiss conservatories in 2014, and the second prize at The Rotary International in Lugano. Shintaro moved to Netherlands in 2015, and he completed his master of fortepiano (historical pianos) in The Hague Royal Conservatory and worked as a teacher. He has worked as an accompanist and ensemble pianist for Rotterdam Philharmonic orchestra, Opera2day, Residentie Orkest in Den Haag, Noord Nederlands Orkest. He also performed "Mad King" by Maxwell Davies in New European Ensemble on tour in 2021.

Rui
Piano and Music Theory lessons in The Hague and Voorburg
Hello there! Welcome to my profile. I am Rui and I teach piano. The piano is known as the most complete musical instrument of all. This is because when playing it we can get all kinds of characters and sounds: very deep basses or super soft high notes; delicate melodies or dense harmonies (almost like an orchestra sometimes). This is one of the reasons why I love to play the piano, its versatility adapts to my everyday mood. I would love to show you the wonders we can create with this amazing instrument! Lessons Every student is different, and by saying this I mean that I prepare every lesson specifically for each student. Some might be more shy, others might need more time to acknowledge some questions. I believe that music (much like everything else) should be taught with patience and motivation. You shouldn’t feel like you’re going against time, it should be the opposite. As a teacher, I always give priority to your motivation and excitement regarding the lesson’s activity. If I see that a student is not enjoying the lesson I have to improvise and turn it around. When teaching, the most important thing for me is that you learn while having fun. I have already some years of experience in giving piano lessons to people for all ages. I adapt the lesson content for every student individually, and I always give them the freedom to follow their musical taste and instincts. I also give a lot of focus to creativity and improvisation. At the end of the lesson, I usually save a few minutes for the student to decide what he/she wants to do: maybe a little 4-hand improvisation, or maybe play a piece they have already learned and that they enjoy playing. About me Most of my studies and experience as a teacher took place in Portugal. I completed my Bachelor Degree in Piano Performance in 2020. I moved to The Netherlands in 2020 to attend the Master Program in Classical Piano Performance in the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague. My academic studies were built on classical music but I also have some experience in pop and rock music. I hope this motivates you to study piano with me! Looking forward to seeing you soon during your first lesson!

I just move to the Royal Conservatoire of Hague to complete my study in Composition. I already have a Master in Piano performance and a Master in Chamber Music. PLAY THE PIANO OR MAKE YOUR OWN SONG! I can help you develop your creativity with sounds. What are you waiting for?
