MyrtoPiano, Music Theory and Musical Creativity for kids and adults
I am a greek composer and pianist and I give piano lessons to kids and adults of a wide range of levels. Feel free to contact me if you are interested in learning how to play the piano or you are curious about music theory or how to make your own music. The structure and the material of the lesson are based on your skills, preferences and wishes, but also according to established piano methods and further music bibliography. I am always keen on transcribing some of my pupils' favourite pieces on piano according to their skills, something that often is very useful and fruitful for their progress. In the first lesson we will talk about your interests, motivation and goals and we will create together a personal course structure. Music demands patience and practice, but all these become easier when you keep your motivation alive by enjoying the process! The lesson can take place online and at your place or mine.
BrisaViolin and Music Theory Lessons for Children and Adults
After studying for two bachelors and one master degrees in Composition and a professional degree in violin, I am currently a student in Master degree of composition at the Royal Conservatoire of Den Haag. Being involved in music education since I was 6 years old - starting to study in a conservatory at age of 8, together with my eight years of practice as a music teacher - has given me enough experience to understand the and needs of a music apprentice. Music is a wonderfully pleasurable form of expression and should be enjoyed with fun and sensitivity. However, discipline (without pressure) can not be forgotten. In my lessons, I try to train the body and brain simultaneously to develop the student's adequate skills to play the instrument and learn the musical language in an efficient and stimulating way.

FilipeSinging Lessons - A motivating, professional team just for you!
The present course is tutored by a Classical Singer and a Classical Pianist, both study connected to the Royal Conservatory Den Haag. It is preferred to work weekly to optimize results. The singing, and main teacher, is always present to assure the vocal progression. The piano coach will be present as often as requested by the student/advised by the teacher. The pupils will then have the best piano accompaniment. The main objective of the course is to work accordingly with the student's goals to give a well-driven direction to our study. The course it's thought with classic technical basics (healthy vocal benefits) but other styles can be added like the musical, jazz, cabaret, etc... Each case will have a personalized answer. The teachers' connection to the Royal Conservatory also ensures that complex problems can be solved by asking the highest experts. > Lesson structure: ✓ The lessons start with body/posture awareness, movement and breathing exercises followed by an individual set of vocalizes that may incorporate some scales, cords and/or improvisation. ✓ After the warm-up, depending on the student's level and goals, some song methods may fallow and/or the repertoire on which we decided to work. ✓ While working on the pieces several kinds of information will be provided: • The Anatomy of the Voice (body, breathing, vocal cord, resonances, prevention and counseling about vocal disorders); • Language and Phonetic knowledge of Italian, French, German, English, Spanish and Portuguese (+ strategies to enable singing in other languages). • Vocal Interpretation, phrase, prosody, colors, coordination with the piano and tools how to personalize the 'message', among others based on appropriate bibliography; • Drama basics, stage preparation, and fright avoidance strategies. • Music Theory and History in order to understand the pieces more deeply through a quick analysis, period and style. ✓ At the end of each season (non-mandatory) public auditions can be arranged whenever an artistic space would be willing to receive great voices and repertoire. This works as progressive training for students individually and/or coupled - ensemble skills. The lessons can be given in English, Spanish and Portuguese. PetraViolin or Piano lessons for all ages in The Hague.
I am a violin and piano teacher from Cape Town South Africa where I graduated with Honours in a Bachelor in violin performance from the University of Cape Town with distinction. I took piano as my second instrument of study. I have 7 years of violin teaching experience and 3 years of piano teaching experience. I also have given musicianship and aural (ear) training classes. I am currently studying a masters in music education at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. Most of my students have been young children but I have also had students of all ages, from children as young as three years old to adults who are in retirement. Attending Kodaly training at the conservatory has equipped me to teach from an auditory and songs based perspective, where singing is integrated into the instrumental lessons. I also use movement inside of lessons, as I have had some training inside of the Dalcroze eurhythmics approach. This approach sees movement as the embodiment of the music. I also actively incorporate elements of creativity in my teaching, for example creating improvisations, or making musical stories. I am happy to teach online lessons as well as in-person lessons. In my online lessons, I have the same approach to music lessons, ie. Singing and movements are still incorporated in the lessons. In teaching (particularly in the online format where in-person demonstrations are not possible) I also sometimes compile videos for the students to use to help with practising. In terms of my own experience in music, I have performed as a solo violinist with the orchestra as well as being an ad hoc tutti violinist for the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra, and with the baroque violin for the Camerata Tinta Barocca and Cape Consort. I have performed with traditional African musicians and ensembles, as well as with dancers for instance in MusicDance021 which is an interdisciplinary real-time composition project.
ZaraClassical singing and piano lessons for all levels and ages
Dear parents and students, I am a professional singer and pianist from Hong Kong, having more than 10 years of experience in music teaching. I graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor degree in music (with honors), Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel with a Master degree in classical singing (with distinction) and also the Post-master degree in classical singing (with distinction). I am currently a professional opera singer working mainly in Germany with conductors and directors from houses and studios such as Theater Rudolstadt, Lyric Opera Studio Weimar, Komische Oper Berlin and Royal Opera House. I am a holder of Licentiate Trinity College of London (LTCL) vocal and piano performance certificates, both with distinctions (97/100 for voice and 90/100 for piano). Besides, I am a holder of DipABRSM piano performance certificate and ABRSM Grade 8 music theory certificate with merit. I have been giving private singing and piano lessons to students ranging from 3 to 50 years of age. Very happily, all of them had obtained distinctions at their ABRSM exams, some of them also won first prize at competitions. However, I do not teach music because of this. Distinctions and prizes are bonuses, but most importantly, I hope my students can enjoy and understand music. For beginners, I focus very much on building basic techniques. Alongside with that, I spend a little time on every lesson for ear training, music theory, music history, sight-reading/sight-singing, music composition, instrumentation and conducting, depending on the interest of the student. For more advanced students, I teach more about musicality and presentation. I aim to provide all-round knowledge to my students so they will be well equipped for future development. For piano students who are at the beginning of their music journey, I use a lot of creative ways to teach basic knowledge such as rhythm and fingering. These creative ways include colorful presentation slides, arranging a tailor-made version of the songs they like and introducing fun games to keep them motivated. Each student will get something different because everyone is different. As an instructor of vocal masterclasses for choir students in Hong Kong, I see myself as the person who: -- opens the door of fundamental vocal techniques for the students; -- influences them to be confident; -- shows them the beauty of human voice and vocal music; -- teaches them to embrace the others without judgement. My way and attitude of teaching was proved to be successful with a lot of positive feedback. I tend to plan my classes in detail, and give notes to students every lesson. In this case, the students can follow the lessons easily and make the best out of their time. I do not make my students always say "yes" and "okay", I like to work with them and they are always welcome to tell me their needs. Since I grew up at one of the best English schools in Hong Kong (Belilios Public School) and I have a lot of English-speaking students, I can communicate in English very fluently without accent. Besides English, Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese are my mother tongues. I am also knowledgeable in German, French and Italian. I am confident that I will provide my students the best learning experience.
ElenaProfessional mezzosoprano offers singing lesson to children and adults!
Hello! I’m Elena, I’m Italian and I’m 26 :) I’ve been training children and teens for 6 years, especially helping them with auditions and tests. I’ve been singing in theaters almost all my life since I started when I was just 8; nowadays I work as a professional mezzosoprano all around the world both in educational projects for kids and children and in big productions. I like teaching because I can share my experience with somebody that needs it and I always get to learn something from my pupils too: I swear teaching makes me a better singer. I give lessons for any kind of purpose: - learning music - improving musicality - preparing an audition - finding our own voice - overcoming insecurity Everybody is different, so everybody has its own path to go through; I cater my lessons on the pupil’s needs, and even if the method is always classical, I make sure that the hour of lesson is a fun moment as well as a learning experience. Music is life and life is fun!

JoelPiano Lessons for Beginners and Amateurs. Classical, Pop, Improvisation and Own Compositions.
I am a professional classical pianist, accompanist, singer, and composer with a Bachelor's Degree from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and a Master's Degree at the Royal Conservatorium in the Hague. For 6 years now, I have been teaching students of all levels between 5 and 60 years old. Lessons are based on your level, interests, and goals. Together we can find out if you are keener on classical repertoire, or if you want to play your favorite pop-music, some beautiful soundtrack from a movie you like or compose/improvise new pieces. With my experience in teaching diverse genres, I will help you explore the music that you like. The central pillars I always work with are technique and creativity, which are much more connected than you would expect! While we advance, I also introduce the basics (or more deeply, if you are interested) of music theory to learn to communicate with each other in musical terms (chords, keys, score reading, etc.). And above all, the goal is to enjoy and have fun!

MatteoVOCAL TECHNIQUE FOR ALL TYPES OF MODERN SINGING, POP AND JAZZ SINGING LESSONS, VOCAL COACH, VOICE WORK.
Do you want to know the register of your voice? Can you sing the higher notes without hurting your voice? Learn how to do pass marks? Getting to have a powerful but also agile voice? I am a songwriter, pop and jazz singer, and voice teacher with 20 years of music experience. I offer singing lessons at all levels. My courses are addressed on the development of bodily and vocal awareness which helps to perceive and consider our body as a musical instrument. My teaching method is the result of the synthesis of my experience as a singer and the many and diverse study paths followed. The lesson is structured in two parts: the first half devoted to vocal technique, the second half to musical repertoire. The vocal technique that I propose is a basic technique for all types of modern singing: from postural education to the care of breathing, from the use of the abdominal muscles, to the emission of air to the cavities of resonance. From a repertoire perspective, the course will be modeled after the student's needs or interests, with an eye for the right attitude to hold while you sing and you are on a stage. I prefer pop and jazz, but I can work with any other modern genre. If the student wishes, I can give him notions of harmony and reading music. EDUCATION I studied song with Bruno De Franceschi (conductor and composer of contemporary classical music and musical theater). I studied vocal technique with the lyric singer David Sotgiu (pupil of Luciano Pavarotti), with the lyric singer Maria Grazia Pittavini (teacher at the Perugia Conservatory) and with Cinzia Spata (one of the most important Italian jazz vocal coaches). I studied jazz singing at the Perugia Conservatory with Marta Raviglia (one of the most important Italian jazz singing teachers) and privately with Cinzia Spata. I studied lyrical singing with Maria Grazia Pittavini. I studied pop and jazz piano with Manuel Magrini (one of the most talented young Italian jazz pianists), I studied jazz piano with Alessandro Bravo, jazz piano master at the Perugia Conservatory. I attended masterclasses relating to the world of singing and voice held by: Maria Pia De Vito (singer), Alejandro Saorin Martinez (voice craft method), Albert Hera (singer, vocal coach, circle song), Erika Biavati ( singer), Eleonora Bruni (singer), Catharina Kroeger (lyric singer), Amanda Tiffin (South African jazz singer), JD Walter (American jazz singer), Matteo Belli (actor and one of the most important Italian experts in voice search), Franco Fussi (one of the most important speech therapists in Italy), Roberta Mazzocchi (speech therapist). EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS I have 20 years of experience in music with around 200 concerts between festivals, theaters, clubs and premises, an album of songs, an EP, singles, collaborations with the world of theater, organization of musical events . I lead musical projects in the field of jazz and pop. The passion for singing and song has inevitably brought me closer to the world of education in which I work.
