Hello! My name is Anne and I am 36 years old. I am originally from England, but I have lived most of my life in The Netherlands. I studied Fashion Marketing and Promotion at The London College of Fashion. I have two years of teaching experience teaching English.

I can teach English or Dutch language to students and adults. The class time can vary from helping with homework, to teaching the foundations of a language, all the way to mastering an intermediate level of communication and language acquisition.

If your Dutch, English or German could use some improvement, you want to learn one of these languages, prepare for an exam or learn one of these languages for any other reason, then you have come to the right place and these lessons are perfect. Depending on your own level, we first look together at what you specifically need and then the lessons are tailored to that. So it is no problem if you are a beginner or a bit more advanced in Dutch, English or German. The lessons will consist of grammar, idiom, spoken as well as written texts and of course you are expected to do homework so that the lessons run smoothly and you reach your goal as quickly as possible.

Each class is tailored to the individual's requirements and/or needs. Want to improve career opportunities; learn or improve business Dutch, which will be the focus of each class. For those already are familiar with Dutch; expanding existing knowledge together with a deeper cultural understanding and insight. All students will be provided lesson schedules in advance for their review (time permitting). In our class we will be relaxed, I will help you with the Dutch conversation, the grammar, reading (like an article or a topic what I will give you). I will help students for beginners-lower-intermediate level. After every lesson I will give you homework for the next lesson. I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.

A qualified language coach with 24 years of experience offers intensive Dutch lessons in a small class or online. I give many Dutch NT2 lessons to expats and in preparation for an integration exam. That can also be done in five to ten full days, I am used to giving these very intensive trainings to CEOs or managers who want it faster and more intensive ... all lessons within 3 or 4 weeks. Based on the European system A-1, A-2, B-1, B-2 and C-1 As soon as students want to further improve their knowledge of Dutch, I always advise and coach them to take the State Exam I or II, the only formal Certificate in this country, recognized by employers and universities. I will try to switch to conversation after a few lessons, to put your knowledge into practice as soon as possible. Don't get too caught up in the grammar. Teaching is my ultimate passion and even after 24 years it feels like the first time and students always feel inspired to overcome the obstacles. I also teach you about Dutch social culture, which is intertwined in the course and is strongly related to the language.
