Before we start the lessons I would love to talk to you to see where exactly you stand with your knowledge and what do you want to achieve and get out of these lessons.

I would also look into what your exact problems are and questions and develop a teaching program in advance. The best way to do that is if I can see examples of questions and maybe the chapters from your book with which you have problems with in advance.

My name is Kristin and I am a PhD Chemistry student in Groningen with a Master's degree in Chemistry (Organic Chemistry).

I love teaching and have a lot of experience in teaching Beginner and Intermediate level Chemistry and some experience in tutoring University level Chemistry. I would love to get to know you and what your goals in learning chemistry are. I believe taking individual approach and developing classes and a program specially for you is sometimes the only way to tackle harder problems :)

I hold MPhil degree in Biochemistry and specialized in Teaching Chemistry and Biology. I thaught Chemistry and Biology for more than 7 years to the school and university students. I always focused on the attention of students and my first priority is to grab students attention towards the subjects under teaching.
Teaching Chemistry and Biology is my hobby and therefore the lectures i prepared are always very much easy to understand and learn.

Organic Chemistry is a difficult subject, but only if you make it so. In reality, if learned well it is actually a beautiful subject and relatively easy. I will help you from the very basics, you can learn these concepts or revise them if you already know them, and then grow from those basics to intermediate concepts and higher levels.
The harsh truth is that organic chemistry relies on the memorization of reactions, structures, reagents, and rules which can make it quite daunting to study. But, with effective teaching methods and practice questions you will be able to conquer this subject.
We will structure the classes according to your level and understanding, we can go slower or faster based on your schedule and I will assign homework for practice, but we will also solve questions together during the lesson. Hopefully, I will be able to help you appreciate this beautiful subject, if not then at least help you clear your exams :)

As a second year medical student, I have an abundance of experience with learning mathematics and sciences. I took all three sciences and maths in my IBDP Diploma. Now, I am continuing to extensively develop my science and maths knowledge in my medicine course.

Maths and sciences are very interesting and important subjects, but can be quite challenging to learn independently. My tutoring is focussed on providing clear, structured, organised and engaging lessons to help with any confusion. I tailor my lessons to the students needs and encourage them to be active in their own learning through means of practice questions. I am someone who is kind, attentive, motivated and hard-working and these attributes come across in my tutoring sessions.

As a recent IB graduate with a score of 44/45 (All 7's in the Sciences and Maths), I know how to master the content of the IB diploma in a smart way. Since the IB diploma covers a very universal curriculum and my knowledge of sciences/maths is solid, I can also help in tutoring of other systems.
