Hi! Welcome! I am a Master's student at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. I offer private tutoring (for high school and/or university-level students) so you can understand the fundamental concept and excel in your studies. I have teaching experience of 3+ years in Physics and Mathematics to high school and university-level students. This class aims to prepare you for the CCVX and James Boswell entrance examination in Physics so that you can enter the university. I am a PhD student with a background in chemistry. For my research I focus on organic electronics. I can tutor students at bachelor level for all three areas of chemistry. I live in Groningen and can teach online or in person, according to the preferences of the student. I enjoy teaching and I like to try and help you to figure things out for yourself and make connections between all the things that are being learnt rather than viewing it as individual bits of knowledge that need to be memorized. Hi, my name is Sophie, I am Italian and I am a recent graduate in International and European law at the university of Groningen. My mother tongue is German, but I also speak English and Italian fluently and am currently learning Dutch and Spanish. I would like to help you improve your conversational Italian, writing, pronounciation, grammar & co. My whole school career I focused on learning languages and as language student I know what difficulties one faces, therefore I can give plenty of study tips and grammar advice. I have five years of experience working with children from 6-12 years old and love to help them understand new things in a playful but efficient manner. I have experience in homework supervision and day care but also teach adults for a while now.

Biology is a truly fascinating subject, so let's make sense of it all together! I'm an enthusiastic third year medicine student at the University of Groningen. Besides my studies I also participate in the Honour's college (an extra challenging programme followed besides the standard medicine programme) and I am involved in research going on in the hospital. Direct feedback is very important while learning a language, which is why it helps to have someone there to correct you in real time. I have my BA in English linguistics and can help you with how you can use your first language to get better at a second or third language you are learning. Hi, I'm Lise and I've been in education for several years. I like to help people learn and study. I myself have a bachelor's degree in biology, but I also really enjoy the subjects of mathematics and English! Now that the final exams are just around the corner, I think it would be useful to brush up on your skills!

Studying for exams and working through homework assignments can be very hard to do on your own, especially if you don't know where you might be going wrong. Solution manuals may help in showing topics you didn't understand but without someone to explain how to get to the right answer, how are you supposed to improve? That's what I'm here for. When we meet, you can show me your assignments, exam review materials or graded assignments/exams and we can talk through how to get to the right answer and any tricks you can use to remember these methods. I will not be lecturing on topics so you get out what you put in! If you don't bring material, we won't have anything to go over. My goal is to leave you with a better understanding of how to work through chemistry/biochemistry/organic chemistry questions in a way that will work for you. Together we will find the methods that will most benefit you. I have worked in both group settings and in one on one sessions online and have experience breaking down problems for people experiencing dyscalculia (numerical dyslexia).
