Hi!

I am an accomplished classical pianist and experienced teacher who offers you piano lessons, at all levels from beginner to advanced, for fun or for serious ones (preparation for competitions, auditions, exams, etc.).

I am a doctoral candidate at the University of Montreal (Canada) and am also pursuing a second Master's degree at the HEM in Geneva. I also have another Master's degree from the first institution as well as a diploma in performance. My doctoral research focuses on the neuropsychology of music learning and its applications in performance.

I had the pleasure of playing with orchestras and as a soloist at festivals in Canada, Germany, Austria, Spain and Switzerland, as well as being the winner of several competitions and the recipient of numerous awards.

I have more than 15 years of experience as an interpreter and pedagogue (even at university level as a lecturer). I am very dedicated to my students and I offer you dynamic, personalized courses to meet the particular needs of each person.

About Me

Hello!

I'm a Canadian pianist, recently moved to Switzerland to pursue additional studies at the Haute École de Musique de Genève.

I really enjoy sharing what I do with others – helping them overcoming obstacles in playing the piano and improving their pianistic skills is always a pleasure for me. I'm very patient and enthusiastic in my teaching; having been a student my whole life (and I hope to continue learning in this way!), I know how wonderful it can be when you meet someone who is open to helping you through your personal challenges based on your individual background so I really aim for that type of teaching. I'm there to help in any way I can.

As a bonus, my doctoral research pertains to the neuropsychology of learning and the most efficient way to develop a skill – my goal is to help you develop the skills necessary to become an independent learner. I have a lot of tricks from my research and own experiences which I'd be more than glad to share!

Hello!

I'm an award-winning Canadian classical pianist and experienced teacher offering piano lessons for all levels, beginner to advanced. I have performed with orchestra and has a soloist in various festivals across Canada, Germany, Austria, Spain and Switzerland, in addition to being a prize winner in numerous competitions, as well as the recipient of numerous grants and awards.

Having recently obtained my masters degree in Music from the University of the Highlands and Islands in Scotland, I have been teaching piano, music theory and electroacoustic music for 8 years.

As a former student of the Conservatoire de Musique of Geneva and a music technology undergrad, I offer a tailored program to your needs and wishes. As a violinist: I am currently a student at the Geneva University of Music, after having followed the pre-professional course at the Conservatoire de Musique de Genève. During my career, I won several prizes such as the Vatelot Rampal competition in Paris and the Jeunesses Musicales of Switzerland soloist, and string quartet (alongside Julie Berthollet in particular). I also attended the Indianapolis University Academy summer internship.

As a Pedagogue: in addition to sporadically giving individual lessons for 4 years, I was part of the "Jeunesses Musicales of Switzerland" youth and youth internship team for three consecutive years.

Overall, my goal is to allow my students to have fun making music, to express themselves as they wish and hear, with their instrument!
I adapt the rhythm of my teaching, my teaching materials, the choice of songs to each, according to the requests that are made to me. Practicing the piano since the age of 4, I obtained in 2020 my DEM (Diploma of musical studies) from the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Strasbourg (Alsace) (equivalent to the Swiss Certificate). I am now a bachelor's student in opera singing and piano at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne since September 2020.
