My name is Kevin and I am from Dublin in Ireland. I am 24 years old and I am back in Brussels for work for a few months. I have taught a number of students in the last few years at home (mostly maths classes). I have also reviewed numerous documents/papers for non-native English speaker colleagues and friends. My classes will be adapted heavily to the level of the student, whether that students needs to work on basic verbs/grammar/conversation or whether the student is near-fluent and simply wants to eliminate any minor flaws. Classes will have a large focus on speaking the language as opposed to rote learning, as this will enable the student to achieve a greater level of comfort in speaking English.

Opleiding

MA in International Relations (Global Conflict in the Modern Era) from Leiden University in the Netherlands, 2019-2020.
- Thesis: Fiddling while Juba burns: Why did the implementation of the Responsibility to Protect doctrine in South Sudan from 2005-2018 fail?

BA (Hons) in History and Political Science from Trinity College Dublin, 2014-2018 (First Class Honours). I specialized in comparative politics and 20th-century history. I also spent half a year on Erasmus at the University of Bologna.

English is one of the most common and useful languages in the world, whether for work, travelling, watching series in original version, understanding your favorite American or English star...

What? An English course for both beginners and advanced, both for children and adults... we discover the basics of the language, grammar and useful vocabulary in a fun way, or we deepen these knowledge, with some revisions if necessary. Obviously, we will tackle all skills: reading, writing, speaking and hearing.

Who? I'm Julie, a fan of languages, I've already mastered almost four, and I always want to discover new ones. English has (almost) no more secrets for me. I'm also a photographer and a photography teacher on the side, so I have a background in building lessons with lots of practice.

How? For one to two hours (two hours recommended to progress more efficiently), I always prepare my lessons specially and in an up-to-date way, using recent articles, relevant and useful vocabulary on a daily basis. Classes are currently only taking place online, as I am not in Belgium.

I offer my services as a teacher
particular for homework help as well as for French,
Dutch and English.

French being my mother tongue, I have no trouble helping
people with shortcomings in this area. Furthermore,
i love reading so i always try to maintain a
correct vocabulary and my grammar rules.

Concerning English I am of a level C1 + according to the frame
common European reference point for languages. My grammar,
my conjugation and my vocabulary are therefore of a very good
level. English is a language that I maintain a lot thanks
to my correspondents but also through the films, books,
music ...

Finally, for Dutch, I am B2 (still according to the
framework) and my grammar and conjugation bases are

My name is Guy, and I am a Brit/Belgian currently living near Mérode in Etterbeek, Brussels.
I can offer beginner/intermediate/advanced classes, conversation classes, and can help students pass their English language exams. I am happy to do it online, at your place, or at my place. It's never too soon or late to learn or improve your English skills which is why I'm available for all age ranges.
I will be available as of 25 February 2025 to give lessons to you or your children.
I have taught English before to Italian and Belgian children (aged 7-12) which has vastly improved their writing and oral skills at school. Some were complete beginners, some had trouble with pronunciation, and were always grateful for the help I gave them.
A little bit about myself: I am 31 years old, bilingual (English and French), speak Italian, some Dutch, and I'm currently studying Slovenian at the ULB in Brussels. I play a bit of saxophone too!
