I have learned my teaching skills from famous cello pedagogues from all over the world. I have experience in teaching to children as well as adults and I consider essential that we both have fun while learning such a wonderful thing as playing music! Lessons will be adapted to your needs and we will develop together your musicality and technical skills. Also possible to ask for academic support with the instrument, music theory or history. I am a graduate musician who can teach students of all levels. Hello! I am Inês, a professional violinist based in Amsterdam. After completing my Bachelor at Codarts-Rotterdam and my Master and Postgraduate in violin performance at the Koniklijk Conservatory Brussel, I am currently active as a freelance violinist and perform regularly in chamber music concerts, having played in festivals such as the Grachten Festival, OUTDOORS, Opera Forward Festival, Uitmarkt, among others. I am also passionate about teaching, and have experience working both in individual lessons with a wide range of ages and in conducting group workshops for children. Wether you are taking your first steps with the violin or if you have played it before and want to pick it up again, I will guide you through developing your musical ear, cultivating a solid and healthy technique, reading music scores fluently, and mostly - to enjoy playing music!

As a orchestra musician since long time, I would like to offer help and training for orchestra auditions. I play in different countries in Europa (France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, UK etc.) : I am aware of the difference styles. I can teach in french and english, if necessary, in german too. I'm a 24 years old Portuguese violist currently living in Amsterdam. I have studied at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Nobuko Imai and Francien Schatborn for 6 years from 2014 till 2020. As a freelancer I work with numerous orchestras such as: Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra and Netherlands Chamber Orchestra, Radio Filharmonisch Orkest and Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra. I'm also an active chamber music player, amongst others as a member of the Rotterdam Chamber Music Society. In addition to my private teaching experience, I have also done a teaching internship at the Muziekschool in Amstelveen during my studies, which gave me a lot of experience working with all levels of playing. In my lessons I always go first for the student's aim, what suits him/her the best and always serving the music. And of course having fun and pleasure in music making!

Hi! Originally from Madeira (Portugal), I have been playing the violin for more than 20 years. After graduating from Bachelor and Masters, both at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, I have decided to pursue my education in the teaching field, currently enrolled on a second master's degree, this time in teaching. In addition to already having a vast curriculum as a soloist or orchestral musician, I consider myself highly passionate about teaching, not only violin but also music theory. I have been very lucky to have had great teachers, who, in addition to have taught me the violin and the love for music, they have also shaped the person I am today. I am a professional viola/violin player with a masters degree.Currently I am performing with orchestras overall Netherlands and teaching at the same time. My goal is to keep my students enthusiastic, challenged and inspired but in an easy-going way. During our lessons we will learn songs and raise it in a good level with fun exercises.We can always add up some challenges for coming lesson and add some duo in our repertory to play together. So let's have fun and work same time!

You will start to enjoy playing the piano both during and outside of the time of the class. You will learn how to be able to perform in a way that inspires your audience. I will teach you the basic music theory without going way deep into it because this is a performance class but you will learn what you need to excel in your performance. Additionally, I will teach you the principles of aesthetics of playing the piano. The repertoire that I focus on is mostly Western modern and Classical music, but we can also work on some famous Persian and Turkish pieces if you like.
