My name Kateryna. I'm opera singer and vocal coach. In Kyiv I have own vocal studio. Last 20 years I had help many students to begin to sing and as usual we had very good results. I had work with students who would like to be a professional singer, who would like to improve a children's dream and develop exiting skills. My youngest student was 4,5 years old and my oldest student was 65 y.o.
Now, I'm starting my new way in London

My name Kateryna. I'm opera singer and vocal coach from Kyiv( Ukraine). I have own vocal studio in Kyiv, but due the war I must to begun new life in London.
My teaching exercises 20 years and I'm happy to build voices from start till real result.

Two keywords form the base of the singing technique I teach: relaxation and engagement. Inspired by the Alexander technique, we need the body to be completely free from any muscle tension before and after producing a sound. Then, to create a sound of quality, the body also needs to be engaged and free. By releasing all the unnecessary tension, you will be able to sing all the arias of your dreams. I will give some weekly exercises in singing and music theory and we will correct them together during the lesson.
I was part of the choir of the French public radio broadcaster for 7 years. I have a diploma in Music theory from the CRR of Boulogne-Billancourt. I even have a degree in Pop music and I am currently finishing my Master's in musical theatre and composition.
My lessons are for all ages, all levels, and all voices. I specialised in the voice of Countertenor.

Art Dip, Opera Dip, BMus (all Honours). I am Canadian, living and teaching from home in West London. I taught voice at the University of Western Ontario and coached at Universities of Toronto, British Columbia and Montreal, and the Royal Conservatory of Music (Toronto), as well as at Tapestry New Opera, Soundstreams Canada and the Canadian Music Centre. Some of my students have gone on to perform at major opera houses, theatre festivals and professional choirs, while some have gained the confidence to sing a solo at their local church or community event. Some have completed their ABRSM or Trinity exams, or auditioned for conservatoire/university, which I help prepare them for. Seeing my students shine (both on stage and off) fills me with humble pride and fulfillment. We will strive to find the authentic version of your voice, which is important in ANY style of music we sing. You want to sound like YOU, right? This is how an audience connects with you, with music, and what you're trying to communicate. It's the secret behind successful singing and I know the way to get you there.
