Hi, I'm Jack a physics international teacher in Bangkok. I have been teaching iGCSE and A-level physics for 5 years. I completed my degree in Geophysics at Durham University before completing my PGCE in Science at Cambridge University. My aim is to develop pupils understanding of how the world works around them. I believe that physics is a vital tool for this! I have experience teaching physics across a range of syllabuses and I can help to develop physics knowledge, exam skills and improve confidence in physics.

I am a great believer in using formative assessment. This involves pupils completing short tests of their knowledge reguarly and then me giving effective feedback to them so that they can respond and improve for next time. Additionally, I always want to relate my teaching to the real world. I think this is essential in allowing pupils to contextualise what they are learning and provide motivation for them to learn more.

I prepare the student for the entrance exam for medicine and/or dentistry. Because a lot of work goes into this, I recommend enjoying both early and well-planned preparation so that the chances of passing this exam are optimal.
