You'll learn how to use the voice in the proper way, starting by your natural speech and developing it to find your own sound. I have experience in both Pop and Jazz styles (a Bachelor in Jazz Singing and a degree in Jazz Composition), so it's possible to study songs from both this repertoires. I also give Music Theory Lessons, to make the student develop his/her own style and musical sensibility and, in the case of Jazz, to know how to improvise on different chord changes and jazz styles.

Singing is one of the best ways to express yourself, and it's something very natural. It really helps people getting more in contact with themselves, and for children, it helps building selfconfidence, discipline and gives fun and happiness. That's why I always start from the student's experience, feelings and demands. I have ten years experience with students of all ages, from 4 years old children to seniors.

Education

I studied Cinema music and Theatre at the University of Pisa, getting a summa cum laude bachelor. I studied Jazz Singing in the Conservatoire of Livorno (Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali Pietro Mascagni), getting a summa cum laude bachelor. I studied Jazz Composition and Big Band Arranging, getting a summa cum laude Degree.

Expérience / Qualifications

I have taught in private schools and in the Italian public school, individual lessons and group lessons. I have ten years experience as teacher and fifteen years experience as performer of Jazz and Pop music, and as Big Band Conductor and Arranger.
I have attended many masterclasses all over Europe about singing techniques and Jazz Music, and Italian masterclasses about pedagogy, teaching to children and didactics. As composition student I studied classic music, theory, harmony and ear training.

Experiencing the joy of music-making can be one of the most rewarding things in life!

If you want to learn to play the piano, or to improve your piano playing, I can help you develop your technique and musicality. I am a piano coach at the conservatoire in Zwolle, and I am able to apply those skills to teaching amateur musicians as well.

After discussing your goals, I'll see what's the best way to guide you there - and then we'll get to work together! My goal is that you're inspired and enjoy exploring the piano.

This will start by either understanding the foundations of music theory on one selected piece and slowly adding components to complete it such as emotions. Hello everyone! I’m Taras a professional panflute player. I started playing the panflute when I was 5 years old. Ever since then I spent every day improving my skills and perfecting my craft. Throughout my career I had won numerous prices and was able to perform throughout Europe. I’m currently studying at the Conservatory van Amsterdam. My violin classes are open to people of all ages and levels. You may have used to play the violin many years ago and are trying to get back at it but don't know how, you may have just started and you're looking for a teacher that can guide your first steps, you may be looking for regular coaching for an already developed sense of musicality — my classes accommodate all of the above and more.
Most of my pupils are already intermediate students who are dedicated to becoming the young violinists of the future, but that doesn't mean my class isn't for you if you are simply looking for a hobby! Music is about having fun together!
