Professional German/English classes from an International School Teacher (IB Programme)

This class is for everyone who wants to improve his/her English and German skills. I do not specifically specialise on tutoring for specific exams (I can obviously do that as well) but I want to offer a class that is customised to the students needs. I always try to teach in a fun and engaging manner with real-life context. People learn best by having a positive attitude towards a subject, therefore, I see it as important to establish a positive rapport with my students and spark their interest in the English and German language.

- I'm a German living in Amsterdam since nice years
- Worked at one of the international schools here in Amsterdam as an English and German teacher for 5 years
- Generally, I would say I'm a person who wants to have fun in life and this also translates to my lessons
- I absolutely adore traveling, meeting and learning about new cultures, and therefore I always keep an open mind for each individual student
- I love to be intellecutally challenged and I always try to do the same for my students

- Before that, I studied for the German 'Abitur' in Bavaria, Germany.

- 5 years of teaching at the Amsterdam International Community School
- During my time as a teacher, I taught Language Acquisition and Language & Literature classes
-Furthermore, I taught German to native speakers as well as mentored students with a very low level of English (A0/A1)
- C2 Proficiency qualification from Cambridge

There isn't a better way to teach your child a new language than through playing. My job is to introduce the English, French, or Arabic language while your child is discovering and learning to make sense of the world around them. Through play, children have more capacity to develop linguistic, social, and communication skills, and gain the self-confidence they need.
My job is to play with the child while using the new language vocabulary; as an example, we can play the Zoo game and learn the names of the animals, the noise they make, the food they consume, and where they live in the wild.
While we play, we can use toys, pictures, songs, videos, and house objects such as fruits and vegetables.
We can play inside or outside in a safe environment.
I have a program that I developed to help my child learn a language and have fun at the same time. It consists of games, reading books, and role-playing in different themes such as ( Food, Animals, Numbers, Alphabet, Colors, Geography, Nature, Technology, Outfits... )
This program can be discussed and edited by the parent according to their child's needs and level.

I am Salem, 25 years old. I am a master graduate from The National University of Kharkiv and currently working in Amsterdam International Community School as a Lab assistant and a teacher assistant. My aim is to provide a strategic planning to help you exceed and progress in your lessons.
