Trusted teacher: If you want to learn English or improve your English, I may be the right teacher for you. I offer less that are fun, interactive and based on what my students need and want to learn. I do this through a variety of activities to help you build your skills; including role-playing games (based on real-life situations), Q&A's and games. The goal is to keep you talking! The lessons are mainly given in English, so you can learn and practice English as much as possible during the lesson. Don't worry about making mistakes; By making mistakes and learning from them, you even speak better. Repetition is an important part of my lessons. I often go back to check if you remember what has progressed in previous lessons. I also offer classes aimed at preparing for international English exams such as the IELTS and TOEFL. Before we meet for our lessons, I want to know your reasons for learning English. If you already have some knowledge of English, I will determine your exact level. Once I know your needs, interests and level, I can select the right materials and design the right course for you. We can work with a textbook (plus extra material) or with my own teaching materials. I use videos, slides, worksheets and other teaching materials. If you like, I can also email you exercises and resources so you can continue learning independently. If in doubt, you can always reach me via WhatsApp email. Our lessons can be online (with Zoom, Skype or a platform of your choice), or I can come to your home (in Haarlem, Velserbroek, Santpoort-Zuid, Santport-Noord, Driehuis, Beverwijk, IJmuiden or Overveen). Lessons can be one-on-one or in a small group.

Alejandro - Heemskerk55€
Trusted teacher: Private lessons for beginners to advanced level of violin playing. All ages are welcome. I am a professionally trained teacher and violinist for almost two decades. My lessons are given in English, Spanish and (soon) Dutch and French. My teaching method is variable depending on the students' needs, but the goal is shared: to make a great musician and qualified violinist out of the pupil. I work on both technical and musical aspects from a (very) consciously prepared healthy and enjoyable perspective. Particular emphasis on having fun with the little ones! I pay special attention to creating a personalized education and experience for every one of my students. I also give some additional tools applicable to the violin playing which includes: Introduction to Yoga, Feldenkrais, Alexander Technique and Body & Mind. All the basic theory is taught too. Occasionally, there are student concerts and collaborations with other teachers. (These may include some teachers from the Sweelinck Academy or the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, and more). From among the required tools for my lessons are: a violin and a bow, score and books purchases when necessary, and, from time to time, meetings with the parents. On occasion, I use digital tools like phone/tablet apps. I can teach in various places near or in the centre of Amsterdam, or, depending on the need, I can move to pretty much wherever in The Netherlands. About the homework, I send it to the students on a weekly basis and encourage them to participate on competitions and summer music courses. As always, this is conditional on the pupil's stage.

Gosse - Haarlem58€
Trusted teacher: Do you want to teach (electric) piano, keyboard or synthesizer? Then you have come to the right place! Gosse (1989) has been giving piano lessons for more than 10 years and we are proud to announce that almost all students who start the lessons actually continue. The lessons are primarily focused on fun and development. He knows from experience that the most important ingredients for learning to play the piano as effectively as possible are: 1: The pleasure of playing The fun is increased by learning to play numbers that the student experiences as beautiful or fun and that bring the right degree of challenge. Gosse mainly specializes in Pop, Soul, R&B, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Funk, Bossa-nova, Latin and Light classical styles. Learn to play your favorite songs! 2: Learning in the way that best suits the student There are three different ways in which someone can learn to play the piano: sheet music, by ear and (the relatively new way) through software programs such as Synthesia. The correct method differs from person to person. 3: Knowing the music theory / shortcuts The three ways you can learn to play the piano described above help you press the right keys at the right time. But it can be easier. Namely by knowing the underlying music theory and / or the shortcuts! Gosse also teaches music production (songwriting and producing). He is most specialized in the Logic Pro and Ableton studio programs. He also helps vocalists who want to accompany themselves on the piano. Feel free to contact us for a trial lesson, for a more detailed version of the above 3 points or if you want to know more!

David
It is with the utmost admiration and gratitude that I extend my effulgent endorsement for David, the epitome of mathematical tutorship. His fervor for the subject and his pupils is steadfast, and David’s commitment to ensuring proficiency and comprehension is manifest in every tutorial session. His availability is most pliable, as he exhibits a constant readiness to alter his docket to accede to the necessities of his students. This adaptability is rare and precious quality, one that has played a seminal role in my time near the finals. Not only do he demonstrate devotion during his scheduled lessons time, for he is always approachable for additional guidance and support outside his hours. David’s unwavering dedication to the academic success of his students is truly remarkable and deeply appreciated by those who benefit from it. What distinguishes David is not solely his mastery in mathematics, but his amiable and cordial demeanour. He cultivates a genial and hospitable environment; and his pedagogy a harmonious blend of professionalism and conviviality. I consider myself fortunate to have availed myself of David’s instruction, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. In conclusion, if you seek a mathematics tutor, David Devidze should be your first port of call. His passion for the subject, commitment to his students, and affable personality makes him the ideal tutor for anyone seeking to enhance their mathematical understanding and aptitude. A true gem in the world of tutelage

Jakub is a fine teacher. Throughout my multiple session over 3-4 months, i have exceeded my own expectation. I started from 0 experience, Jakub broke down the drawing into multiple exercises focusing on different aspects. He focused on explaining the theory and mistake of my drawing. Ton
Excellent teaching skills. I had booked private lessons and Ton tailored every session exactly to my needs, and added even more. Beside photography, we discussed day-to-day technical topics such as back-up, storage, organising images, etc. You can see that Ton is used to being in a classroom - very structured and content focused. Excellent communication, always on time and also flexible to reschedule if needed. I will be back with more questions!
